High Quality Portable A/C Unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the Frigidaire model #FHPC0821AC to combat the summer heat in our upstairs master bedroom. This Frigidaire was easy to setup, including venting the supplied exhaust hose through one of the bedroom windows. Everything we needed was included in the box, and took less than 30min to complete the installation. The unit works perfectly, quickly cooling the 350sf master bedroom. Our desired sleep tempature is 68degrees, and this unit easily maintains this temperature throughout the evening and early morning hours. This Frigidaire is perfect for us. We are sleeping much better, waking up refreshed, ready to takle whatever the day has in store for us. Most portable A/C units make loud clunky sounds as the compressor kicks on/off, but not the Frigidaire, its quiet as it cycles to maintain temperature. This Frigidaire is perfect for us and we could not be happier with this purchase. Thank You Frigidaire!

I using it in my bedroom and boy does it get my room cold. I had to turn it off a few times because it gets too cold. I sleep with my comforter on my bed. I am so glad I purchased. Closing Bed room doors I now can cool the kitchen and dining/living room (total 350 sq. ft.). At night just open doors & the other 350 Sq. ft. is quite comfortable. It was eastmy to set up, it is easy to use use and quiet. It has a remote but haven't needed to use it. Did I mention I LOVE IT? What a relief!

Small and mighty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this appliance for about a month now. It has only been needed for a few hot days when my room couldn't cool down on its own and at that point I was super grateful. The AC works well. I wish I could adjust the front facing fan grates a bit more, but I can work with what I have. What I love most is the size. It's more portable than any other model I've tried which will be great as I move around over the next few years. The unit is quite loud and the few nights I've used it I've definitely put in some ear plugs so I could sleep through the noise. The fan is really impressive. The fan modes are what I use most currently until it gets seriously hot where I live in July/August. I think I might put a piece of plywood underneath the unit to help stabilize it as I've heard that can be helpful. So far I'm super happy with this model.

Why does my ac keep saying p1 and smell like pee ? I tried everything draining it cleaning filters even cleaning the openings in the back and side
Not a great unit at all. I've had it for a 2 years. P1 code started showing up after first summer having it. Now I have a hose going into a 5 gallon bucket to catch all the water. LG

We love this AC and have it set to cool at 68 degrees for the night. The problem is that it keeps going on and off and it's annoying and waking me up when it does that. How do we keep this on?
If you set the AC to 68, and the room reaches 68 degrees, the AC shuts off because if it kept going, the temp would continue to go down. I would recommend playing white noise or a fan sounds app so it’s not as noticeable.

Does the drain hose have to be connected. What happens when it’s not connected? Connected the water drain hose and it fills up so quickly. Where does the water go if not connected?
Can someone Please tell me how I can set the timer on this unit so it will "turn off" after a set time period? I like to go to sleep with it running but want it to turn off after say 2 hours but can't figure out how to do that with the remote. Help! Thx!!
