Great accessibility!

As a wheelchair user, it is often difficult to reach across the open door of a bottom-hinged oven - especially when lifting out hot, heavy dishes. The side-hinge feature allows me to roll my wheelchair up close to the oven and easily lift out dishes.

2nd swing door oven

Only concern is the manual directions are very inaccurate - too many misplaced "Starts". Check Delay start directions for most extreme wrong steps!

Frigidaire wall oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new oven replaces an earlier model. While I love and use all the cooking features, I love that the door opens to the side like a microwave. I have a large family and cook large cuts of meat and heavy casseroles. This door enables the loading and unloading of heavy dishes much safer than other wall ovens. I don’t have to lift heavy things over a hot door obstructing me from reaching in. Please keep this feature always!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is it possible to love an oven....well I do! A 27" single electric wall oven is apparently a rare find. Who new? I waited almost a year to receive this and truly, worth the wait. Because I only have the space for this particular size, I was so pleased to find this variation of oven. The side opening is a huge plus...I haven't burned my wrists once trying to reach into the oven to test my meatballs. The convection feature is huge but I didn't know that in my search but what a difference in the bake....Could not recommend this oven more. I am certain it will arrive much more quickly as I ordered mine during the supposed pandemic...It's a great choice and it updated my old kitchen in a flash.

Very Pleased

Only issue is that when you are time baking, the display only has current time, not the elapsed time. It may have that function but I haven't found it yet. Also the instructions are comprehensive enough IMHO.

Great Upgrade

WHAT I LOVE
* More space: insulation has gotten more efficient since 1992
* Pre-Heat: takes 5-10 minutes
* Convection function: works as advertised
This oven does not fit into my built-in like the old Jenn-Aire, but that will be fixed when we renovate the kitchen.

27" Single Electric Wall Oven with side opening door

It really makes it easy and safer to have the door swing out to the side and out of the way, rather than have to reach over a hot oven door. Especially with heavy roasting pans. All the other features on the oven work great and as expected.

Great swing away door!

I just love it because I am in a wheelchair and needed a door that swung away. It works great for me . We had to switch the door from left to right swing but after awhile we got it. But again, I just love the door swinging to the right .

Splendid upgrade

I really like the quick preheat, convection cooking, and probe. The only downside so far is the noisy fan that seems to run too long- I guess it will extend the life of the electronics.

Great Oven

I am paralyzed and in a wheelchair so I have to have an oven with a door that opens from the side. It works wonderful. The racks are easy for me to move in and out and spills wipe up easily.

Convection!
I'm new to convection cooking and just tried a batch of cookies that came out perfectly. I was able to put two cookie sheets into the oven at the same time, making things way easier than my old Frigidaire non-convection oven which handled only one cookie sheet at a time. I love the right-side-opening door; easy for me to get close to my new Frigidaire oven from my wheelchair.

The best oven, really.

Having an oven at counter height is very nice, but having the door open to the side is stupendous. I love the fast preheat, the cooking timers, actually all the functions. Did I mention that my husband and son installed it themselves? I'm positive you'll be as happy as I am with this oven.

New wall oven

Also since this was one of the last appliances that had not been replaced it gave a chance to modernize. Perfect fit!
