It is much quieter than our old unit, and very handsome. It has all the functionally and style you could want. We replaced our old built in microwave, and this one was just about an inch taller. I cut the top of the cabinet and swapped out the 15 amp receptacle for a 20 amp (on a 20 amp breaker) and we were good to go! Matches the wall oven very nicely.

It has been on backorder forever and frigidaire doesn't have a cross referenced glass plate the will fit and work w/ the turn table. At least one that they can id. Has anyone found a glass alternative that will spin?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fire Hazard Shortly after install of our Frigidaire Professional microwave it began to have sparking from the turntable. I swapped it with another turntable of the same type (previous one ordered was damaged in shipment but we had the turntable) thinking it was an isolated incident, I was wrong. We had a paper towel on the on the ceramic plate and it caught fire from the sparks. I have been using microwave repair paint on the wheels which temporarily stops the sparking. Frigidaire needs to recall these turntables and provide replacements, not charge us $200 + for an issue they knew about.

Bought this to match the kitchen appliances. 1 year and 8 days bought the extended warranty and no one will cover the turn table that is arcing in the microwave. These little plastic pieces melt then start to arc. Now they want 212 to replace it. To then be done again. How about they really fix the issue.
