The new handle design over our previous professional model is much sturdier and is easier to grab. When opening the door, closing it and then needing to grab something else, there is no longer a vacuum lock like our previous Frigidaire Professional. This is great so you don’t need to jerk or feel like you’re getting a workout to reopen the door. The lighting is great and there is plenty of well laid out storage with the adjustable bins in the door. We also love the inset water dispenser as it is completely non-intrusive. All in all, we couldn’t be happier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have one single door Fridge and one single door Freezer next to each other in our kitchen and couldn’t be happier with the size of both! The Fridge has interior touchscreen options that disappears when not being utilized. It also has the most unique pop-out filtered water dispenser that is hidden and doesn’t take up any space. The storage is endless! The bottom shelf even pulls out for convenience when having to bend down.

They were aging (10+ years) and it was time for a replacement. Everything about these units was an upgrade - from the ice maker to the digital temperature controls - solid!

The side shelf’s are one continuous shelf. The dark shelves are very gorgeous and spacious. When we replaced everything we had more space and the whole bottom drawer not in use. That is how much more space we had after putting everything back. Yes they are expensive but the asthetic single front is beautiful and very spacious. And they put water inside. Genius

What is the exact cutout depth to put panels on each side and be built in?

The Frigidaire website has dimension information for all its products. Pulled off of website all specifications for depth, width and installation dimensions needed for built in applications. Trim package details are also available.

My kitchen has the space for the older model of the Frigidaire professional fridge freezer but I couldn't get it when my kitchen was done, the newer model is bigger, it fits but without the trim but I don't like it without any suggestions?

I need to replce model #FPFU19F8RF, is this the same unit just a newer version? I ask because I have the matching freezer and trim kit.

Unfortunately, no. The new model is slightly bigger and the trim kit is also a new model . They sent me the old trim kit with the new model by mistake and it didn’t  fit.  Needed to reorder the new trim kit .
