Gas Dryer Installation Services

• Bring the gas dryer into your home and place it in its proper spot (Freestanding only – no stacking or undercounter placement)
• If purchased, we'll haul away your old dryer if already disconnected 

• Disconnection of existing dryer
• Bring the dryer into your home and place it in its proper spot (Freestanding only – no stacking or undercounter placement)
• Connecting a new gas flex connection kit to existing code-compliant gas line with functional shut-off valve (Shut-off valve must be behind appliance within 4 feet of the dryer)
• Connection of electrical cord into existing code-compliant 115V outlet (Length is limited to 4ft from appliance's connection block to outlet)
• Connection of new semi-rigid vent, up to 8 feet installed to existing wall cap (Vent line must be accessible to existing wall cap)

For an additional cost, we can do the following:

• Conversion to LP gas (conversion kit sold separately)
• Side venting (kit sold separately) 
• Undercounter installation
• We'll haul away your old dryer if already disconnected 

Unfortunately we cannot do any of the following:

• Adding, running, or relocating of gas line
• Install a Natural or LP gas shutoff valve  
• Adding, running, or relocating of electric 
• Replacement of non-accessible venting or connection to plastic venting
• Alterations to the area such as cutting into existing counters or cabinets; cutting into Corian, stone, tile, or other types of countertops; or drilling into stone or tile floors 

• Functional code-compliant 115v electrical outlet
• Functional vent cap in your wall
• Functional code-compliant gas line with shutoff valve within four feet of the dryer
• Functional code-compliant plumbing with shutoff valves and drain connections (steam dryers only)
• New gas flex connection kit at additional cost
• New semi-rigid vent kit at additional cost
• New steam kit at additional cost (steam dryers only)
• If necessary, new side vent kit at additional cost

• The dryer's power cord can reach an outlet up to four feet away, the gas flex connection kit can reach a valve up to four feet away, and the vent hose can reach a vent cap up to eight feet away. If you've chosen a steam dryer, the water hoses and drain can reach connections up to five feet away. If the distance between your dryer's spot and these connections is greater, you'll need to purchase extended-length hoses or cords before your new dryer can be connected.
• Clear your dryer's path, and make sure your doorways, hallways, and stairways are wide enough for your purchase to pass through.
• Be advised that an adult over the age of 18 must be present in your home to accept the delivery.

• Your dryer will be delivered curbside at your home with no installation or in-home placement.
• Kindly note that this is the only option for delivery addresses outside of the P.C. Richard & Son local area.
• Unfortunately haul-away is not an option for freight deliveries.

• Be advised that an adult over the age of 18 (19 in Nebraska or Alabama) must be present in your home to accept the delivery.
• Have a hand truck ready to move your dryer, and make sure at least one more person is around to help.
