GE Makes It Happen
Ge provided me with the perfect appliances that allow me, a handicapped person, to do my own laundry. My husband has been doing laundry for many years. This perfect stacked washer/dryer combo is the perfect size to create a laundry on my main floor without needing to do stairs. Plus it was affordable and works like a dream. Surprised!
I have only had this unit for a week but I absolutely love it. The dryer really fluffs the clothes and I was greatly surprised by the size of the wash tub. A really large quilt fit in it just fine. I can hear it spinning so I know when the washer is done but it is not overly loud. I do wish the dryer had a light, as I am used to that. Perhaps GE can think about that feature moving forward.

We have purchased many of these since we have an apartment complex! This one replaced one we had for 10 years! That says a lot about the durability of multiple people (who don’t own it) have used it and it keeps going! And honestly it was only the dryer part that was broken! 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a stackable!

Had an old washer and dryer in basement. Going up snd down steps carting the laundry was getting hard. Did not have much room upstairs. Have a closet and this unit just fit in there. The tubs are almost the same size as my old ones. It is also very quiet.

I have this GE stackable washer and dryer. My dryer will only count down when it is on a timed cycle. If I select more dry, optimum dry etc it will stay in the same place and run for hours. Is this normal? I've never had a stackable before.

I just purchased the GUD27ESSMWW and was told and confirmed that this unit has a side vent capability just as the 24 inch floor model. However, my contractor did not find the perforated. hole on the side, to be able to use it. This is crucial for me.
