It is hard wired into 240V. Needed an electrician to connect to power. Unit was operational within 1 hour.

It has an automatic setting of 350 degrees and when you turn it on, it you can watch it as it preheats to get to the temperature you need and once there, it beeps to let you know it's ready. I was very impressed when I baked cupcakes with my grandson, because they were done in the shortest timeframe, per the recipe, compared to my old one where it took longer for them to bake. This is a very nice stove/range and I recommend it to everyone that needs a 27" drop in range.

It has only been installed for a couple of days for it he's exceeded my expectations so far. It replaced a stove that was at least 26 years old and has a lot more features than my original stove. You will need an electrician to install it. ** That's not a problem, you just have to know that in advance. I live in a home built in 1969 and this is the only oven/range that fits. This is the second GE drop in I have used. I love that it now has self-cleaning! My only problem with this and most other ovens on the market is the oven vent coming out the front. I'm short, and that vent burns my stomach when I have to reach to the back burner. If you and everyone else changed this, it would be perfect.
