Love my new GE washer. This one is quiet and cleans very well. My old washer (different brand) was only 6 years when it ceased to work. As at the time it was only my husband and myself. Sadly, my husband passed two years ago so obviously the older washer had not been overly used. I also did not take a warranty out so that was a lesson hard learned. I talked with friends who have a GE washer and also researched on internet. All excellent reviews so I think this will be a great washer. Thanks GE. Looking forward to many years of clean clothes.

We purchased this new GE washer because our old GE washer stopped working after more than 14 years of service. We trust the quality of GE appliance, therefore we decided to purchase the same brand as our old ones. Since we think the old washer is litte bit small, we purchase a bigger one this time. After we used this new GE washer to wash our clothes and sheets, we are very satified with its working efficience clean. The washer clothes are more clean and the washed sheets are the softest and cleanest than anytime of our washed sheets in the past decades. We have only had this washer for just over a month but so far so good. It is a little bit louder than our last model but they were a lot more expensive than this one but we wanted a more simple washer with less bells and whistles. Love that you can still add clothes if you forget anything b/c lid does not lock right after hitting start button. And that it does not have the dispenser tray b/c those things get nasty and you have to clean them often. This washer is old school you put detergent in before you load the clothes. It also seems to wash faster than last brand we had. Satisfied for sure just hope we get 5 plus years out of it!!

How long does one cycle of clothes take on model GTW385ASWWS
Our GE Washer is still fairly new, so I m still feeling my way around its performance. As for your question, it would appear everything hinges on size and weight of load. Sometimes lighter loads are finished very fast. I love our new GE Washer, everything is cleaner and fresher. Ours has auto sensing feature on water fill, real piece of mind!! Hope this helps ?
