I absolutely love this washer! I was afraid of going from a 5.5 to a 4.3 but wow GE! This is more than enough room, takes up less space and is reminiscent of the days of old! I’m an old soul not big on digital nor lid locks but this model doesn’t lock until it completely fills up! I would buy GE again (hopefully not for 10yrs)but we will when we have to replace our dryer for sure!

Can't believe how much this will hold!
So far so good. I've been testing it out since I received it. We've done about 6 loads, various types and size and everything looks good. I didn't realize how large the drum was. I'm looking forward to trying sheets and comforters to see how it holds up.

Have only had this washer for a week, but super happy with it. Other reviews state that it's loud, but I disagree, it has a different sound compared to the front loader I had (for 12 years)that rook few days to get use to. Overall I would recommend this washer.

How long does one cycle of clothes take on model GTW385ASWWS
Our GE Washer is still fairly new, so I m still feeling my way around its performance. As for your question, it would appear everything hinges on size and weight of load. Sometimes lighter loads are finished very fast. I love our new GE Washer, everything is cleaner and fresher. Ours has auto sensing feature on water fill, real piece of mind!! Hope this helps ?
