Great washer! Love the water level feature! Purchased a washer last yr. I hated it. Was a water saver that filled by sensor. Water was always below the level of clothes ,no agitator. Clothes were never cleaned good, wore our clothes our fast by no water for th4m to be free moving just rubbed on each other. This washer washes great, can choose water level and options high soiled clothes than other loads. Spins them so dry, we save by using less dryer time.Great price for a great washer. Very pleased.

An Excellent Washer So Far.
I bought this particular washer because I wanted to have control over the water level, however, after reading up about how the automatic water level system works, I've been using that and it seems to do a great job. The sounds the washer makes are a bit different from the ones I grew up with, but nothing weird. I've had the unit about a month and done 6 loads, including one with some heavy blankets, all on the auto water level setting, and everything comes out very clean, so I'm a happy camper. A great value for a basic washer.

So far so good. The washer is much larger than my last one.
It seems to be washing the clothes fine. Still learning all the settings - water level, clothes, types, etc. It's pretty quiet. Haven't had any issues with balance yet and I've done towels, blankets, and rugs all of which often caused lots of unbalancing with my past washer.

How long does one cycle of clothes take on model GTW385ASWWS
Our GE Washer is still fairly new, so I m still feeling my way around its performance. As for your question, it would appear everything hinges on size and weight of load. Sometimes lighter loads are finished very fast. I love our new GE Washer, everything is cleaner and fresher. Ours has auto sensing feature on water fill, real piece of mind!! Hope this helps ?
