Was a bit nervous to buy this machine, based on some negative reviews. It is exactly what I’ve been looking for! It’s pretty basic, but gets my clothes really clean. I wash everything on deep wash and there is never any dirt or debris left on clothes or towels. I also like that I can open the lid at any time during the cycle. I’ve only had it for a few months, so hoping it holds up

Huge capacity, smaller stature
We love our new GE washing machine. It takes up less room than our 3 year old Maytag did, but the capacity is a lot bigger. Also, being 5'2", it is slightly lower, so I can reach the bottom of the drum. The washer is a beast disguised as a dainty Lady. The model is GTW485ASW0WB. The price was amazing as well. Looks great and is a workhorse.
