It Does Have an alert
Great dryer. Bought it because it was a little less money than the next one up. We're told that it didn't have the end of cycle alarm. It does! It is loud and lasts at least 10 seconds. Hope it lasts as long as it's predecessor.

Love the simplicity of this machine which makes it simple and uncomplicated. One minor issue is you have to use some force to shut the door. Other than that is a great product. I have a GE washer and oven and dishwasher all brand new. Wouldn’t use any other brand.

Large capacity. Much quieter than our old one. The bulge in the rear panel doesn't allow it to get close to the wall. The end-of-cycle buzzer can wake the dead.

Nice Dryer. Don't regret the purchase one bit.
It is quiet while operating, handles larger loads fine, dries clothes quickly and has the most important options needed. Overall very happy with this unit. Only thing I would like added is an option to turn the buzzer on or off. It is too loud and lasts too long if you are near it. The buzzer really isn't a large issue because it only takes a minute or two "resolve". Just search Youtube for GE Dryer Buzzer.
