Quiet and easily accessible!
We replaced a chest freezer with this GE upright freezer just a week ago, so I can comment only on how quiet and convenient it is. I like the shelf distribution (there is a little leeway for adjusting a couple of the shelves), and the fact that it is not too deep. It's easy to keep track of what is inside and the temperature is clearly shown outside the door. I was finding it impossible to get anything out of the chest freezer so things were getting lost and outdated in there. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Very happy with all the features of my freezer.
I am very pleased with all the features of my freezer. I love the on door displays, especially the temperature. I also love the bright light in the freezer, it is much brighter than my refrigerator light. One of the reasons I picked this model is because it is Garage Ready. That is the same reason I love the lock. I live in a duplex with one shared garage space. Each side has it's own garage door but there is no wall between the two sides. I live on a very busy street. The neighbors frequently leave their garage door open for several hours. They are also very nosey and have even gone through my trash and recycling.

This little freezer will amaze you of how much food you can store inside! This upright freezer lets you see exactly what is inside instead of bending over and shuffling through all your frozen foods and sometimes you can't locate what you are looking for. Oh yes and the freezer temp is displayed on the door ;-)

Just What I Wanted!!
This freezer for my garage is just what I needed to replace an old one which gave up the ghost.
It's the perfect size, is lockable, the temperature shows on the outside of the door. It has an alarm in case the temperature drops or there are other problems. Lots of shelves, a big basket at the bottom, just in time for a Thanksgiving turkey!
