In the past, we've owned flagship units from Maytag and Whirlpool and thought we'd give GE a try. We also purchased the pedestals. I'm happy to report that these GE appliances appear to be superior in features and quality than our past washers and dryers. The dryer's steam feature, the washer's ability to add an entire bottle of detergent for several wash cycles, and their network connectivity are just a few of the features we're looking forward to using for a long time. Clothes are clean and dry. As far as reliabilty, time will tell, but so far, so good. Thanks GE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! Really like this dryer so far. Haven’t had to run multiple cycles to get clothes dry like our old LG. The steam feature is also great. It actually pulls from the waterline instead of having to pour water into a receptacle in the dryer like our old one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needs a louder chime Like the larger capacity. Good options for different cycles. Seems to be energy efficient. Low noise level. Overall performs well as expected. My only con is the chime for the finished cycle is not loud enough, even after adjusting it. You can only hear it if your in the same room as they dryer & washer. And the odds of that are zero.

When looking at replacements we focused on GE since that is what all our other main appliances are and we have always been happy with them. It is a great unit easy to use and is a lot faster than the old set. I would strongly recommend them.

This thing is built like a spaceship, sturdy, lots of really nice options. Using it is easier than I thought, the controls can seem intimidating but it’s actually quite intuitive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best dryer ever! Love the different settings and the fact that the Wi-Fi tells me if the clothes are still damp. It also tells me if I have clothes still in there! I did have GE set up the installation which I’m glad I did as the unit is extremely heavy, and this model actually connects to the waterline for the steam feature. (With my former GE model I had to add water) also, the Wi-Fi allows me to turn on the dryer and set it to de-wrinkle in case I left a load in overnight! I have it sitting on a riser which holds way more than I have stuff to store. 😃
