It took a few hours to cut the cabinets, and measure everything accurately after the removal of the former Samsung, but after few extra holes that we didn't need because of our inaccuracy, it installed very nicely. It looks nice and appears to be functioning properly. It is no more nor no less noisy than the former microwave. We are hoping we installed the top exhaust properly to the roof duct. Time will tell. Love the 1000 watt power. Heats nice a quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality and value microwave Microwave was packed well. SS on front looks great. Beverage function has worked well...hot, but not boiling. Quiet operation. To remove the unit from the box, instructions suggest cutting the base off of the box and lifting the box off. A little awkward, but made it easier to lift, after a bit of a task to cut all around the thick box. Secondly, the bracket was different from the same size GE model I was replacing. The new design should have been made to allow use with prior brackets. Hole location above for cord was different also, so now I have two cord holes in cabinet. Not a problem for new customers, but should have been taken into account by GE for replacement customers as myself.
