Love the Shelves and Pull Out Bins!
We are very happy with the purchase of this new 17.3 Cu.Ft. freezer. We specifically like the fact that this model has glass and plastic shelves and pull out bins. It fits nicely in our garage and we were able to easily store all of our frozen items.

Love the size. Great features.
Love the size and space. This replaces a 25 year old small chest freezer. Take up the same floor space but over twice the room. Now with the glass shelves, 3 clear storage bins and 4 door bins we will be able to easily find everything. Energy efficient.

Great space and nice features!
Freezer is better than I anticipated. I love how sturdy the shelves are. They are nice and deep, holding food easily and stacking nicely. I wasn't sure if I was going to like an upright freezer for our meat, but I am glad we got this one. It holds a surprisingly large amount of food!
I decided to get it because of the alarm and locking features. We have had several issues in the past with food going bad because our freezers getting unplugged. I will say the alarm isn't as loud as I hoped, but at least if someone goes out to the garage they would notice it. With the lock I can keep the kids out if I choose.

So far, so good!
We just got this freezer so I can only review what I like. First of all the freezer has a temperature gage in the door visible from the outside. I liked that! My old freezer only had shelves but this freezer has 2 deep draws in the bottom and on drawer for smaller things in the top. I liked that. It also has several shelves in the door and what I liked about them is that there are closed in the bottom so nothing can slip through. When I put my meats back I have a lot more room then in the old freezer.

Very pleased....
So far, so good. Freezer is operating as designed and I am looking forward to using it. It replaced a 52-year-old Coldspot which we had been keeping shut with duct tape. The old compressor was still chugging along! Would be wonderful if the new GE would last that long.

LOVE THIS UPRIGHT GARAGE FREEZER!
GE is RELIABLE, TOP QUALITY and this stand up garage freezer (made for low and high temperatures in garages, outside of the inside of the home) is no exception. LOVE the temperature display on the door that can be viewed and adjusted, if necessary, and the ALARM if the temperature were to be higher than it's set. Would recommend this GE freezer to anyone who likes plenty of space, drawers, shelves and door storage. Couldn't ask for a better upright freezer!

How big is the box it comes in, I want to make sure I can fit it in to my SUV?
We had PC Richard deliver and install it. They cut it out of the box in the truck. Unless you have a sprinter box truck, it is not going in your SUV. Have PC Richard deliver it. It’s worth it.
