The Door Open alarm is handy as grandchildren often go out to the freezer for popsicles or ice cream treats. I appreciate the lit up temp on front of door as any time I go to get in the car or do anything in the garage it's easy to glance over and see that all is well.

Is there a way to turn off the interior light for the Sabbath? Is there a button that can be taped over to keep the light off when the door is open?
