I purchased upright freezer for the size and quality of ge. I support local stores in my area. The local store recommends ge. I wanted a certain size and ge had what I wanted. Happy with product. Could use more shelves in freezer and on the door.

Quiet, spacious, wide shelves with basket
When it was time to replace my old upright freezer, I did a lot of online review searches. I knew I wanted at least 21 cf and wire shelves. I looked at several, both in stores and online. This GE freezer kept getting great reviews and had all the features I needed. I love the interior space, the width of the shelves and the wire basket. To set the temperature could not be easier and the display in the front of the unit is an added bonus. The freezer is so quiet and seems to be energy efficient. The built in LED light makes finding things at night so easy. I really haven't got anything to say about it that I do not like.

GE Upright Freezer Rocks
Great looking freezer, very well built, packaging was excellent protecting the freezer during shipping. The capacity is fantastic lots of room for storage. You can’t even hear it running it’s so quiet. The energy usage is very low compared to other brands. I highly recommend this freezer to others.
