Roomy frig and user-friendly!

Good refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the GE GSS25GGPWW refrigerator and absolutely love it. It was an excellent replacement for my 17 year old Whirlpool , that up and died. This refrigerator has all the conveniences of the old on plus a couple extra. The capacity is more than enough, the interior lighting is just right, though the freezer compartment could use an extra light, as I don’t think one is enough. The shelves are adequate, the crisper and deli drawers are easy to see into, the water filter is very accessible and the ice maker/water dispenser is well above average. I really appreciate the digital temperature readout for the freezer and refrigerator compartments. Overall I rate this product a buy with a caveat: always purchase a warranty extension plan for this type of appliance, as they can fail after the factory warranty has expired.

Great fridge overall
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Get in regards to the standing shelves. Allows for view of all things. Would prefer the French door with pull out bottom due to capacity issues with this one but it works due to the available space in our kitchen. In regards to temperature and energy it does well on both and hasn’t caused any alarming problems. Only true issue I have is with the noise of the ice maker working to make ice. Can’t stand it but I guess it comes with the territory.

The water and ice machine work great and fridge is relatively quiet. Got all the appliances to match. Very happy with purchase.

Miss the snack drawer and larger door shelves but so happy I could get this. Many places only want to sell stainless steel. Last one lasted 25 years! Stick with GE

Love this fridge

I DO love the dual control/water and ice window in the freezer door. But am disappointed i have to wait 24 hours to get my first tub of ice cubes. ( then I gotta throw it away)

Zero Clearance Doors!!!

The best part is the zero clearance doors. GE doesn't really advertise this but it is a huge selling point. We originally purchased a Samsung Bespoke model and didn't realize the doors on it requires a ton of space when opened. This didn't work for use since the fridge is up against a wall on one side. We ended up going to back the store and opening every fridge to see the clearance. This GE model was THE ONLY 2 Door fridge that has zero clearance doors. The curved edges are also a smart design feature. I have to recommend this to anyone looking for a 2 door model and has clearance issues in their fridge space. We exchanged our Samsung Bespoke for this and love it. The storage space is great too. We also have a new GE Stove to match.
We did look at LG who have zero clearance in 3 doors but we hate the French doors. We actually moved our perfectly working KitchenAid French door fridge to our garage because of the horrible freezer storage area.

Greatest features, filter, water, and crushed ice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator. Honestly, it’s very useful. I love how it has all the comply and I need and it keeps all my stuff very fresh and ready to eat the three things that I do. Love about it. The most that has a war filter dispenser with water, ice, scrunched ice, and a light a night so you won’t get lost. And you know exactly where your refrigerators.
