French Door Refrigerator Is Fantastic!
This is the first time I have purchased a French Door refrigerator and I love it! So much more space inside than in a side by side refrigerator. The freezer drawer is easily accessible too with plenty of storage space. I love the water spout on the inside of the fridge for a glass of filtered water.
I have always purchased GE appliances and they last for a very long time. For me 20+ years.

New Fridge for Me!
My old LG refrigerator was 21 years old! Although it was still working, the seals were not tight and the shelving was breaking. I finally decided to change it out for a new fridge. I looked at a lot of models that were the same configuration as my old one. The GE model was the best option with the high reviews, overall cubic feet and function. I have had it for 2 days and have fit everything back into the fridge. The main thing I notice is that it is a lot noisier than my old fridge. I hear it all the time. It's adjacent to the family room, so, I can hear from the sitting area. The other things that I noticed is the access function of the drawers is not as accessible as the LG was. The freezer drawer does not open as far. The freezer shelf drawer/ice maker pulls out when you open the main freezer drawer, so that the ice is easy to reach. But this actually hinders the access to the main drawer/food bin in the freezer, compared with the LG fridge. The vegetable and deli drawers also seem smaller. I barely fit everything back into the new drawers. I hope the drawers will hold up, as they seem light weight. I will just have to make adjustments on this, as well. I hope to see a difference in the power consumption of the new fridge.

I don’t miss the ice in the door at all.
This fridge makes a huge amount of large half moon ice cubes. Water spout inside.
The inside lighting is so bright and clear. I love the large gallon size containers on both doors. Great for all my odd condiment bottles that look so disorganized if put on a shelf. Lots of shelves for food items. And the adjustable shelf for taller items.

How long did it take to get the refrigerator? I ordered the color slate and I know it is.custom but am I going to be waiting 4 months for it?
I am so sorry to hear that. I worked directly with someone at the store so I only had to wait a week. I would definitely ask for an update. I am guessing they had one in stock when I ordered
