This unit is a replacement for a 2 door GE that has served us well for many years. The packaging was excellent and arrived on time. Loved the spacious upper section with great lighting and easy access. After installation it began cooling and freezing without any issues.

Love my new French Door GE Energy Star 27 Cubic Foot Frig. It has a lot of room, easy to see everything in my frig at a glance. Easy to keep clean. I Like the way the one side of the glass slides back to put our gallon of milk in and taller juice bottles. I have never owned a French door before yesterday. I will never go back to the regular refrigerator. I would recommend this refrigerator to any person who wants plenty of room for their food and drinks. Also, love the way the water dispenser is very convenient being built in the wall of the refrigerator too. I also like having the ice maker in the bottom drawer also very convenient too. It makes 100 ice cubes, so there is plenty of ice in the holder and don't have to worry about running out of ice. This is just a great around refrigerator.

GE GNE27JYMFS Refrigerator gets a 98% score!
I have enjoyed my wonderful French door refrigerator for about a month now. I have found the stainless steal exterior easy to clean. The refrigerator section is the most flexible I found. It is easy to configure the half shelves, the door shelves, and the drawers to meet my needs with the flexibility to adjust them to meet the needs of a holiday meal. I really like the ice maker and bin located in the freezer drawer. I do not lose refrigerator space by it not being located in the door. And it minimizes the risk of the feature that most fails in all refrigerators I looked at. The drawer style freezer took some time to get use to but I now have a system for using the inner top drawer and the bottom section of the main drawer. Each also comes with an adjustable divider. The only weird thing is the water spout. It is all but useless. It takes two hands to use it and only thin lipped glasses fit under the spout. It should be removed from this level of model. This is everything I had hoped for when I decided to by the GNE27JYMFS model refrigerator.

So spacious!!
In the store, I thought this refrigerator looked, well, functional. It is extremely spacious and that’s what I needed. I was pleasingly surprised at how beautuful it actually is when they delivered and set it up in my kitchen. The stainless steel exterior has just the right sheen and resists fingerprints. It is very clean and modern looking. Inside, the space is well designed allowing storage in every inch of refrigeration. Unlike other models that have the icemaker in the top unit, this one only has an icemaker in the bottom freezer. That adds LOTS of space for non frozen food storage! The icemaker rolls out 100 cubes in 24 hours, which is more than adequate for us. Another thing I like about this three door model is the additional space you get by NOT having that fourth exterior door/drawer. The fruit/veggie drawers and deli drawer are spacious and well arranged. I love having space to place large items, like oversized casserole dishes and a Thanksgiving turkey, on the shelves, which are much more efficient than my old side-by-side.
