No one has time to waste waiting for the water
I caught my stove on fire a week before Christmas. As a stay at home mom of 8 I wasn't expecting anything fancy to replace it. My husband and I went to pick this oven out and chose it because it was in our price range and it is a GE. GE is our go to appliance brand. Upon delivery the stove arrived all shiny and new! Of course I was eager to test it out so for dinner that night I made a feast of chicken nuggets and French fries, the kids favorite. It felt wrong to cook something so ... blah, in my shiny, brand new, oven. Upon pushing the "crisp" button, I crossed my fingers and hoped for the very best. 15 to 17 minutes later I removed the dino nuggets from the oven and what I laid my eyes upon were the most surprisingly crispy (yet still juicy) nuggies that I had ever had the honor of experiencing. I mean I didn't even flip them, how did they have a 360 degree perfectly crispy crust? The next day I had my heart set on making rice, for my large family that requires a total of 8 cups of water. I placed my tall and rather thick pot on the front right burner where the words "power boil" are printed, I walked away to continue to prepare the rest of dinner. Approximately 60 to 90 seconds later I heard a noise coming from the stove top. Could that be? There's no way. I approach the stove and look into my already boiling pot! I was so overwhelmed with excitement I picked up my phone to call my friend to share the great news! I have now had this oven just over a month and I continue to experience the same joy day after tedious day. When you have this many kids no one has time to waste waiting for the water to boil.

Why did I wait?
I should have purchased this range years ago!
My holiday gatherings were so nice this year - the oven heats EVENLY & reaches the correct temperature quickly. The stovetop is easy to use as well. Plenty of room for a variety of differing pan sizes. Shrimp & grits turned out perfect due to even heating on my cooktop.
I did replace an older GE stove with a newer version!

I love my new stove!
I've always had the traditional electric stove top and hated it! The flat top is better than I ever imagined although I am having to buy all new pans bc the old burners warped the ones I have and they no longer flat. I especially love that the right front burner can be used for large or small pots and pans. Oh and the quick boil. So nice!

Love this stove over the years
We love this stove as its the only style for the money with the crazed cooktop to hid imperfections and smudges. The bottom drawer is a bit less quality than they were 8 years ago. I wish this was a bit heavier medal.
