Perfect for My Family's Needs
Works and looks perfect for our price point, which is mid-range. I'm giving it top marks for now as it's quite new, not a month yet. But it delivers what we need/want. It has 4 regular-sized burners + a smaller one for warming. It has a right-sized oven for baking ham + extras (like potatoes, veggies) with ample room to maneuver. Haven't reached the point where we have to clean it yet, so we haven't used the clean/steam function, but I have high hopes that it will work great when the time comes.

We have been using GE products ever since we built our house. Our last range lasted for 10 years before one of the burners went bad. We could have just replaced the worn burner but the newer model looks attractive so we replaced the whole range, with GE brand of course. GE is the most trusted brand in our opinions.

GE oven- simple to use and great basic features
Wife loves the GE crisper stove (me too). Comparing it to our 30 yr old GE which had the exposed burners-- The new ceramic/glass top is nice. We bought the cleaning/polish kit (I recommend) and put the polish on before we started and she cleans and polishes after each use. After 1 week, no scratches (using aluminum pans). The burners work fine from low to high and are a little more powerful than our old one (med on the new is hotter than med on the old). The oven heats/cooks fine and shows the temperature as it's heating. Yes there was a smell the first time the oven was used but not that terrible. The timer is a little quieter than our old one but keeps beeping unit shut off and we could hear it with the TV running. You can also set cook time so the oven would shut off even if you don't hear the timer. The storage drawer is a little smaller and not as sturdy but it is fine. We got the white finish and are happy. The white numbers on the clock/timer are easy to see and read. We didn't want all the special (internet) features. In our opinion-just more to go wrong. Assuming it lasts- we're very happy.

We had a Hotpoint before and it was replaced due to a remodel of kitchen (wife wanted it to match other appliances) Gave old range to Habitat for Humanity since it was still ok. Like new one al though bottom drawer area is smaller.
