Easy to install in wall unit box
I’m loving my new ac. It’s very easy to use and I like the remote to keep nearby for making adjustments as needed. It’s very nice looking in my wall unit box. I like buying GE appliances as I think they are made well.

Replacement Unit after 30 Years
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy installation as I had a previous GE AC that lasted 30 years so the sleeve was the same size, thank for that GE! Very quiet for the type of unit. Enjoying the remote and temperature settings. One issue or development piece that needs to be addressed is that the fins are less variable in the newer unit so the airflow has a limited options and you may be forced to endure blowing almost directly at people. You will need to find an aftermarket attachment that can provide a way to redirect the airflow

One of a Kind

Good cooling but cheaply built
It cools the room well and has easy controls. I do think the build is cheap with styrofoam insulation inside the unit. The front grill seems to let light in from the outside and I am worried that cold air will come through the wall sleeve in the winter.

A bit too noisy.
Wish it was quieter. Also the vents don’t turn up towards the ceiling so the a/c hits me on the back when I’m sleeping.

I purchased one of these on june twentieth of twenty twenty four. After 2 hours of running time, the humidity in the room went up to 78%. I thought I just got a defective one.So I returned it and ordered another. The new one was better than the first one but the humidity was still seventy percent. I see that this unit has great Reviews. The one that I bought was made on 3/11/24. Maybe it was just that 1 run Is made on that day. Other than that it's easy to you Is and it cools great It just doesn't. Dehumidify.
