Perfect for small space!
Absolutely love this machine. Thorough cleaning of the filter and coils, assures a smooth cycle. The features are very easy to navigate, program, and use.
It fits perfectly into the minimal space that we have, we didn't need ventilation or any electrical changes. Basically, if you have a place for a standard washing machine, with water supply and draining... it's plug and play, literally!

This is a great tool. Game changer! Set it and forget it. Come back and you’re ready to fold and reload. Huge time saver and very efficient. Ultra eco friendly and well designed. Max features and robust app make it so sweet. 20 loads so far no issues. No different than my LG stack right next to it as far as clean and dry.

Have used several times in the first week - impressive! Still learning all the bells and whistles, but very happy thus far. Be aware that, when it spins at the end of the wash cycle, it's surprisingly loud for several seconds. This may be because it's on a stand (our choice).

A great new way to do laundry!
We absolutely love our GE profile washer/dryer combo
We have been using it since mid October 2024 and it has really been amazing. I can’t get over how much easier it is to do laundry now with this machine.
I have watched a lot of video reviews and maintenance before I actually bought it.
most of those seemed to say it works great as long as you keep up with the maintenance and use the right settings for what you’re washing (like don’t try to wash and dry jeans or bulky bedding on the normal setting)
Don’t over fill it with laundry it says max of 10lbs of laundry but I don’t weigh my laundry all the time lol but it can do a full square basket or at least leave about a 1/3 of the drum empty if that makes sense.
It doesn’t tell you to clean the filter after every load but we do and I wash the filter once every week or every other week (because we use it a lot lol) I did get the cleaning brushes to help me clean inside where the lint filter goes.
It does have an app you can get on your phone and it lets you know when a load is done, when you need to clean the filter and when to do the self clean cycle.
It can take a little extra effort when it comes to cleaning the blue gasket because lint gets in it but I usually just wipe it down every now and then and get it really good just before I run the self clean cycle. And don’t forget the bottom drain catcher needs to be cleaned whenever the self clean cycle is done because it catches lint that gets down the drain so it could build up pretty bad if it doesn’t ever get done.
It suggests the self clean cycle every 40 loads.
I read the manual twice before I installed it myself and was able to get it all set without calling anyone.(we did get some help getting it in our house because it is very heavy)
It is absolutely amazing to be able to put a load of laundry in and it be clean and dry the next time I check on it.
A normal load takes about 2-2 1/2 hours so some might say that’s a long time but our dryer was taking all day to dry one load before we got this machine.
It uses a normal outlet for power and doesn’t need a vent to outside, just hot and cold water hook ups and a drain.
I have not had any issues yet or needed to call for service so I don’t have an opinion on that yet.
I have been very happy with this purchase and it is my favorite machine in the house.

I love this machine! We are switching to electric appliances and this does not disappoint. there are 5 people In-N-Out household plus laundry from our short term rental so we have two machines. We have a lot of clothes that hang to dry so it’s great having the option to only wash or only dry. The wrinkle care option is awesome. You must clean out the filter and do the self cleaning when instructed by the machine…or else! Here’s a tip that I do to prevent that musty smell a lot of theses machines have. Empty the sitting water weekly. There’s a spout at the bottom in the front of the machine. With a flat head screwdriver, butter knife or something flat inserted into the tiny notch at the top of the panel, you can easily pop off the cover.place a bowl underneath, then pull down the drain spout, unscrew the lint catcher plug and let the water drain. Clean out the lint trap plug and put it all back together but literally takes me 5 mins a week and removes the stagnant sitting water. At first there was a smell of silicone or rubber but that goes away and now I don’t smell it al all. Because it’s electric and ventless, the filters needs to be cleared of lint. I also have a lint trap attachment for my vacuum and I clear out excess lint in the compartment where the lint trap panel lives once a month. If I have. A large load of clothes I will add more time for drying. I have had one machine for one year and just replaced our other gas water and dryer and it’s a new electric washer/dryer. Oh and the space we have saved in our laundry room is a bonus! We were able to free up a side and installed base cabinets with a countertop. Now I have the folding space I never knew I needed. Highly recommend.

Best decision made to get this!
I had double units my whole life. Different brands and saw this when it first came out. I was skeptical, so I purchased another two unit brand. After doing extensive research, I sold the ones I had and made the decision to just go for it. I have found so far that this is by far the best washer/dryer I have owned and upon reading other positive reviews including some negative ones, decided to see for myself. This is my honest review on this unit:
PROS
-sleek look
-takes up minimal space
-no need to remember to throw clothes in the dryer
-eliminates musty smelling clothes
-eliminates need to rewash clothes
-items washed smell much more fresh than they would in separate units as it eliminates the part where they sit in a washer for any amount of time
-you get reminders to your smartphone when load is about to end and accessibility to control the unit remotely
-ventless, so no ducts to clean, just filter
CONS:
-larger loads may require additional drying time
-longer cycles depending on what settings you choose (ie. pet hair removal 15,30,45,60 min) will add to a longer cycle time
-not suitable for larger families (more than 5) unless you have the ability/time to run laundry throughout the day or have 2 units to do the same thing.
OVERALL VIEWPOINT:
If you are looking for a quality washer/dryer combo, this is it! You cannot beat the convenience of this unit and how well it washes & dries your clothes.
NOTE: Best suited for smaller families, individuals or those that have minimal room for a washer AND dryer. The convenience alone that the GE Profile All in One Unit offers is by far one of the best things out there and am so glad I made this decision.
Also purchased the base to elevate the unit to reduce bending.

Excellent product, habit changing!
I've had this for 2 months now and was skeptical of some of the reviews, so I kept my old electric dryer just in case. So far I've used the old dryer zero times.
You do need to make a few mental adjustments to be successful, but it's not hard.
1) Clean the filter every time when you put the wash in. Just like your dryer lint trap needs to be cleaned every time, you need to do this. You just have to retrain yourself to do it at the start of a wash.
2) Take the clothes out when it's done. If you set up the app it can send you a push notification at 5 minutes and again when it's done. Take the close out and do the little shake / fluf them. It really makes all the difference in how dry they are. Waiting an hour or more will lead to poor results and you will probably want to run a dry only cycle again.
If you can't be home to take them out when it's done, consider using the delayed start feature, or the remote start feature.
The biggest improvement I would make is to make the door reversible. I understand why it's not, but it's a real drawback.

Had this for over a year and we love it!!
We bought this in December 2023 so we've now had the machine for over a year and it is awesome. We've had no issues with it and we love it so much. Literally weekly my husband and I comment to each other how much we love this machine. My husband and I are both ADHD and we probably forgot clothes in the washer about half the time and would have to rewash them. Now it's one and done. Saves me so much time and mental load.
Not sure what all these people are talking about with all the issues, but we've had ZERO issues. I actually clean out the lint thing after every cycle and we've no issues with the filter or anything getting clogged. We are just following the provided maintenance directions, and everything works great. This is probably not a machine for you if you don't do things like clean out the lint filter.

Revolutionary Machine
This is an amazing machine! It takes a little time to learn the nuances but once you do you will be very pleased. I just read today online that Switzerland has banned all vented dryers because these ventless machines are so much more efficient. (Better for environment too I suspect).

Happy customer
After half a dozen loads, I am thrilled with my washer/dryer. The drying is definitely different than conventional, but being forewarned the load will seem damp has made the transition easy. Cleans well and I love being able to start a load before bedtime and it's ready for folding in the morning.
