I have had GE Profile products in my home for twenty years. They are great products. Reliable, easy to work with and an amazing value ! Especially noting the products have required little to no repair. I recently replace a twenty year old GR Profile microwave with another GE Profile microwave and am thoroughly satisfied with the product. I have been so fortunate with the GE Profile line that it was just a natural decision to purchase that same line again. Recommend the PVM9225SRSS
The new microwave performs exactly as expected. The only issue we experienced is that the first unit the dealer installed was defective (it did everything but cook). The defective unit was subsequently replaced with the unit now in service, which works well.
Among the nice features of this particular model are the extendable exhaust intake and the LED down-light.

Microwave vent hood works great
Having the vent hood extend out over the cooking surface is a great feature of this over-the-range microwave hood vent. And the fan has plenty of power to draw the smoke and odors outdoors. The dial knob takes a heartbeat to get used to, and I do miss a keypad to set cooking time and timers, but still gets the job done.

Range hood extension really makes the difference
The extendable hood, along with the powerful fan, has effectively stopped all cooking smells in the house. The extra 5" of hood coverage really makes a difference. Plus the fan is 400 CFM, a 25% increase over our last microwave.

We just installed our new GE Profile microwave above our profile cook top. It fit perfectly and we used the new SS filler kit as well ... it was installed perfectly and looks great. We had over 15 years on our old profile microwave and hope this lasts as long. It is a really nice appliance.

I almost ignored this request but I actually quite like the new microwave. The LG it replaced seriously just fell apart. This seems well made, the fan works well. The controls are easy to access. Nothing bad to say. Probably going to replace the stove with a compatible GE soon.

The produce itself is excellent. The extended exhaust system is a very valuable feature. But the color of my G.E. profile micro wave did not match with my E.G. Profile oven. My oven glass was black and the micro wave glass was a gray. We were very disappointed.
