I had the same type refrigerator (different brand).
There is all the difference in the world. I especially love the door dispenser. The ice actually goes in the glass--not so with the previous brand.

A Great Refrigerator
I had to replace my ten year old GE Profile refrigerator and definitely wanted its replacement to be as close to the model I had as I could get. This model was the answer. It is a great refrigerator in terms of the outside water and ice dispenser, the large interior bins, glass shelves, energy efficiency and overall design. It has the added option for a second ice bin in the freezer, too. It is counter depth and was on sale. A very reliable frig!

Great design for counter depth fridge.
I love the counter depth of the fridge. I also love the interior lighting. The shelves are great sizes and the mini shelves on the left side are perfect for holding mustard, relish and salad dressings without getting cluttered. I love all of it!

Beautiful design. I love the counter depth. Doesn't stick out as much as the standard size. I love the Black Stainless Steel look. I do wish this model came with WiFi.

Quality does not take a holiday with GE Profile
Great build quality over the 12yr our old LG that the GE Profile replaced. The split shelves makes it easier to make space for taller items on the fly. The fridge is quiet. Nice finish on the black stainless. Has a nice blue led light that shines on the floor. The vegetable drawer and meat drawers have separate setting. Well thought our shelves in the doors for gallon milk or larger containers.

Nice, but...
Beautiful and so quiet compared to our last unit. Better space than old side by side. Just disappointed that the protective film does not come off around the edges and hopefully will get it all off over time

Modern unit

So far, Great!
Have only had this 2 days now but can say delivery went smoothly, no dents or scratches and inside looked good as well. Seems to be functioning properly. There is a slight rattle/vibration sound when compressor is on, but otherwise it's quieter than our old fridge and it's good looking too! Matches my other stainless GE appliance

Fabulous refrigerator
I love my new refrigerator !! I incorrectly assumed that by going to "counter-depth" that I was going to lose space on the interior of my refrigerator. I couldn't have been more wrong ! I have a lot more interior space than I had before. I love the flexibility and multiple configurations that are possible with the shelves. It allowed me to totally customize my refrigerator for my needs. Fabulous product !
