Best Frig ever
Love this GE frig. It is so user friendly. The back panel lighting makes it easy to see everything. The door in the door is awesome. The perfect place for items we use a lot like milk and juice. The freezer is huge yet is easy to access everything in it. The flex drawer is super useful. We have a mix of drinks and dairy in it.

LOVE the door in door and middle drawer!
We replaced a Samsung 4 door unit that didn't quite last 8 years before both fridge and freezer died within days of each other, not to mention the several years we had problems with the ice maker freezing up. But I digress. We shopped for something built in the US, Ice in the door OR in the freezer and french door. There were a LOT of choices. What drew us to this model was the LED lights in the back and the middle drawer. We use the fridge so much more than the freezer and having the middle drawer to use for cheese, snacks, deli meats, etc. to free up space in the french door area was great for us. So far, we LOVE this fridge!! Ice maker works wonderfully, the middle drawer is SO handy (make sure the installers put the plastic "drawer" insert in the right way...there IS a front and back we found out, otherwise, you'll hear some clicking everytime you open it) and I actually love the door in door feature that I thought was just too gimmicky.

Only had it for a day, but so far we like it, and the backlight is nice touch. Very spacious and the fingerprint resistant doors are legit. Controls are simple, but allow for customization of temperature zones for the middle pullout. Has a "door open" alarm that goes off after a period of time if the door is left open - with small children in the home, this is extremely helpful! After researching for a few weeks, we are happy with this decision.

Well pleased.
My review is only based upon a week of having the refrigerator. To this point we are well on leased with the look, functionality, ease of set up and quality of the refrigerator. One element of moderate concern is the touchpad for some of the functions. At first it was a bit tricky to get the right touch for the functions to work, but we are gradually improving our understanding of where to press on the touchpad as well as the amount of pressure.

Wonderful!
So far, so good! Beautiful appliance! I am reconfigure my entire kitchen to make it fit.. I love it that much! The soft closing drawers and the back lit wall are just a few of the things I love about this fridge. Best Christmas present in years!

So far our refrigerator is working great and really like the extra sliding door for either a refrigerator or freezer and adjust the temperature accordingly. The ice maker is a little slow when trying to get ice cubes.

Our middle drawer does not open.....it appears to be stuck. Anyone else have this problem. Of course it is the weekend and PC Richards service dept is not open until Monday!
Please check that there is not clear tape holding it closed. Most drawers come taped to stay secure during shipping

does this refrigerator require hook up to water supply or is it a plumbing free refrigerator?
If you want to use the water and ice dispenser you’ll need to hook up to water. And you DO WANT those features. I love, love my refrigerator however I have to have service in because the door alarm keeps going off when all doors are securely shut. As a matter fact my stove and dishwasher also seem to have a mind of their own. Each randomly . I’m getting all three of them service this week and I’m just praying that the Issues get resolved. It’s been less than a year!! That’s what you have to worry about with all the technology and computer components to appliances. The more technology the more problems…
