Great Kitchen Upgrade!
We received this product as a wedding gift and have been thrilled with it! The knives of course are great, and everything we expected from Henckles, but the fact that is was a self-sharpening block made it that much better. We have been using them for a few weeks now, and despite being a little skeptical about the self sharpening black to begin with, ha be genuinely been sharpening our knives less often!

This set is beautiful!
I love these knives. I cut a tomato for the first time without quashing it! It was amazing. I can’t believe I went this long without a good set of knives. My mom has a Henckels knives she bought 25 years ago and still loves them. That’s what prompted me to this. Very happy and did I mention is gorgeous and classy looking??

The knives are beautifully crafted, feel great in my hand and are incredibly sharp! I also appreciate that most of the components in this set were made in Europe.

I did notice scratches on the block below the big knives and above the area for the steak knives. Disappointed about that but too much of a hassle to return. The self sharpening feature is a plus.
