Good replacement
I purchased the Henckels 15/piece knife block set to replace a similar set I purchased over 15 years ago. While it contains all the same pieces, there is a difference in handle size. The older version had slimmer handles that looked sleeker (comparison of paring knives in photo), but the larger handles on this newer version are better for stability.

Love my Henckels
I am a former chef, and all I used was Henckels, because of the quality. My wife and I decided to purchase a knife set for the kitchen, and we went with the Henckels, again because of the quality and in my opinion they are a superior knife.
