Great knives! Just got them in the mail, hand washed them and used a couple knives. Very sharpe and the handle is heavy and durable.

Great knife set!
Very pleased. The shipment arrived promptly and well packaged. I have used the knives for a week in my commercial kitchen and they have performed flawlessly! It's a joy having sharp knives in my kitchen. It is well know that you "get what you pay for." However, I must say that the low price is not an indicator of low quality in this case. The quality of the knives far exceeds the low price and I am grateful that they were affordable.

Amazingly sharp, stunning design
These knives are incredibly sharp. You can literally cut through a piece of cardboard like butter! We couldn’t be happier with them, the self sharpening is a bonus as well. The wood and metal is super nice with our decor.

Perfect set

I like the metal accent it makes it seem much more expensive than it actually was. I'm pretty sure this will be the last set of knives I'll ever buy.

quality knives
the knives were very sharp right out of the box. i personally have not used them and we have only owned them for a couple weeks, but my mother (who i bought them for) is very pleased and comments alot on how sharp they are. these were an upgrade of a very old set of henckel knives which my mom liked so much she almost didnt want to put away but were so worn about 1/4 of the blades were missing from sharpening (like i said ... very old set). we have not owned them long enough to be able to have a clear idea of how well the self sharpening is working but when inserting or removing the non serrated blades you can clearly hear the stones honing the edge. needless to say we are very pleased with both the old and the new knives, and have alot of faith that the new set will be even better than the last.

Best investment ever!
I hate dull knives with a passion. Decided to try Henckels knives and I am totally in love with my knife set. The knives simply glide through anything I want to cut. I like the fact the block sharpens my knives every time I take one out and return it to the block. I’ve lost strength in my hands and these knives are exactly what I needed.

Best knife set I've had!
I used to have basic run of the mill cheap steel knife sets that after a few months to a year would start to rust or even fall apart along with losing the edge on the blades. Once I got this one a few days ago, wow, best knife set that I have ever owned other than spending thousands on a tier 1 professional single knife. I will definitely be recommending this brand and set to all my friends that do a lot of cooking and prep work at home.
