A great little stove.
I gust got this stove today it is so nice not to have to deal with piolet lights that go out all the time and no more smoke detectors going off all the time every time I use the oven my old stove came with the house back in 1936 just that date tells a lot about what I always had to deal with.

Can I use an extension cord to plug this in? Is there a specific type to use? The oven gets very hot in the back where the cord sits and am concerned about fire safety.
I doubt it. You should contact the manufacturer or even ask P.C. Richards. But I think all stoves get hot in the back
