Sweet beans

HP 65W Slim with USB AC Adapter Charger
I received this charger after some delay - FedEx - not HP. The charger works well for both of my new and older HP laptop computers. It is slightly longer and deeper than the original but not as high. Overall it should pack well. It does what it is supposed to do: charge my new computer; as a bonus it also charges my older laptop. It comes with three different charging tips. In addition the the components pictured in the sales material it also came with an angled wall to charger adapter. This part is not noted or pictured on the accompanying user instructions so I don't know what HP calls it. I suspect this is for travel as it will be valuable for plugging the charger into desk height electrical outlets. It's unfortunate that HP does not make this part available for separate purchase configured for European, English and Australian outlets.

Overall happy -- though it runs hot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for probably a couple of months now. I was very happy that it fits my Envy and it's very compact when you take it apart. The one negative that I have noticed is that if I have to use it all day, it becomes very hot to the touch, which I can't imagine is good. Overall, I am happy.

How is this supposed to work?
I got it, I needed a charger cord since my puppy ate mine while it was plugged into the wall outlet. I have yet to figure out how exactly it is supposed to be plugged into the laptop, the wall outlet, and be intact at the same time. I have yet to get my laptop powered up,

Works on ENVY, but not on Spectre x360 Convertible
I was told that this would work on both an ENVY 13t and a Spectre x360 Convertible. The connector is incompatible with the Spectre. It works fine on the ENVY.

not lighter or smaller than stock power supply
the power supply works fine, but overall it is not lighter weight or smaller in size the the stock unit that came with my Elitebook 820, which is what I wanted in a travel power supply. Don't waste your money if you are looking for smaller and lighter.
