Powerful receiver w/8K video compatibility & more!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL MA710 is a state of the art home theater receiver that provides an array of sound quality no matter the listening. The 7 channel amplifier distirbutes premium audio that can be shared in other rooms if party mode is selected. The Dolby Atmos surround sound is something beyond description. The compatibility for 8K video itself is a fantastic feature. The 2 channel option for gaming is our favorite, when connected to larger speakers, the experience sounds surreal. The streaming capabilities made easy with casting allowed straight from ones phone using the JBL Premium Audio app.

The Brain of the System
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Read the instruction manuel! It's worth the read as this is how you will control your settings among other things. That being said...The entire stage 2 series is amazing. It works in med to xx-large spaces. I wouldn't buy it for an apartment under 1200sqft. Your neighbors wouldn't like you very much. The sound is powerful and smooth. I did need some assistance with the installation because I didn't want wires showing and im not comfortable going into walls. If you want the system to look as good as it sounds, you should have someone to help you. Be sure to read the instruction manuel or you will miss out on features like speaker placement which makes an overall difference in the sound. I definitely understand why its a stage series as the sound is stage worthy. I have been buying JBL for years and this system continnues to exemplify the success of the company by stepping up the quality of sound a regular person can have access to in their home. Just FYI, Snoop had his JBL speaker on the bus with the USA men's basketball team during the Olympics and it made me proud to be a JBL supporter myself!

Must have for a home cinema experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the MA710 receiver for almost a month now. I have a subwoofer, two loudspeakers, the 245C speakers, 240H speakers, and the center speaker connected with no issues.
One of the things I like is that it connects to the internet and has Apple AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, and Bluetooth. I can easily use my phone to start playing music on the speakers, change songs, or lower the volume.
The only thing I wish it had is the ability to update settings through the JBL app on your phone instead of using the controller. Hopefully, this feature can be added in the future.
Other than that, setting up the speakers was simple. I recommend checking out the instructions if you're setting it up yourself, and make sure all connections are tight and correct before powering on to avoid any reboot issues or system shutdowns.
One feature I appreciate is the glass design. If you choose to store it on a shelf or out of sight, there's an option to dim the lights or turn them off completely. Changing listening inputs is easy and can be done with the controller.
Overall, the MA710 is a good choice for an in-home cinema setup. It supports high-resolution audio formats and has a user-friendly interface.

I don’t live in a theatre..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t live in a theatre, but my neighbors think I do. With the convince of portability, the simplicity of Bluetooth and the amazing sound quality coming from today’s popular smaller speakers, I haven’t had want for much else. But, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a full system and I decided it was time. Time to go big. 7.1 big. I had no idea what I was in for. Sounds now come from not only front, behind and deep within, but also from above. I’ve had to hit pause to investigate if the noises were coming from inside or outside of my house. The JBL MA710 receiver paired with the 200 series speakers will drive nails out of your joists. Crystal clearly. Set up is very straight forward. The packaging is impeccable as always. Once connected you can dial in channels and frequencies, along with Dolby and Atmos options. The charcoal magnetic grille covers complement the handsome wood grain finish of all the speakers and sub. While the MA710 has a beautiful glass front I was a bit let down by the old school mono-color analog looking display. Nit picky, I know, but IT deserves better. Luckily you can time the display to go blank in seconds. I also appreciate the auto off on timed idle option. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the JBL app to work on my iPhone, so I cannot speak to its interface with the system. Bottom line, if you want truer than life home theater sound or incredible stage presence, this is where it’s at.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you were looking to start upgrading you're home audio quality, starting with this AV receiver will be an excellent choice. It is aesthetically pleasing to look out for sure, but it really does bring quality with along with its sleek looks. The buttons have a very nice sturdy receptive feel to them. Everything on the back is clearly labeled so you're not likely to make any mistakes setting things up. Plenty of HDMI ports on the back.

So many features in such a small box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This receiver is something of a dream come true. First and foremost is the setup, it was absolutely a breeze as everything is labelled in an orderly fashion. I found that having all the positive and negative terminals in one row made wiring and hiding that wiring much easier. Talking about connections, having ARC as an option for a TV is an absolute win in my book. Being able to control the volume through just the TV remote is a much more hassle free experience.
Setting up the menu side of the receiver is much more straightforward than I anticipated. Being able to select what audio source is a basic requirement, but having the ability to then select what that input is set for (2.0 stereo, 2.1 stereo, Dolby Atmos, etc) is a feature I didn't know I wanted or needed. I can see myself adding to this setup in the future and using said feature for quick 'presets' for seperating movie watching and listening to music.
Talking about performance, looking at the specs of the receiver and what it can give, pairing it with any speaker will be more than enough juice for them. I have speakers that require far less RMS than what this receiver can give, so if I wanted to I could add more and still have more than enough head room to play with.

Easy setup, seamless functionality,quality product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup of the controller was easy and seamless. After downloading the app, the product was quickly found and able to connect to wifi for setup. Sound settings and changing input mode can easily be done with the remote or on the conteoller itself. Adjusting between bluetooth, TV, HMDI inputs, etc is very easy. Adjust bass, treble, and other sound settings is also easy. Was able to immediately to conncet to bluetooth and play music. Look is slim and sleek, without taking up as much width as a traditional soundbar. Ababilty to fully dim display screen is nice when lights are off for movie/TV show viewing.

The options!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Man this thing has options. First off, seamless connection to tv and remotes. The oversized knobs turn real smooth and I appreciate there not being an unnecessary amount of buttons on the face of the receiver. I currently have stage 260F speakers hooked up for sound but there is room to add a lot more for the experience you may prefer.

Easy Setup, Great Sound, at Great Price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have setup a number of AV receivers is my day and this was one of the easiest and stress-free experiences I've had with a new receiver. The look of the receiver is very sleek and looks almost retro with it's large volume controls and minimal buttons. There were plenty of inputs for the large array of devices I tend to connect to my receivers, from game consoles to a record player and everything in between. The receiver uses an app on your phone or tablet to calibrate the EQ, which was much easier to use than other systems I've encountered. Once I ran the EQ app, the sound was pretty good right from the get-go. I did have a couple of issues with some of the settings causing odd audio outputs that I had to figure out, but it has been smooth sailing since then. It has a great power output and the sound has been excellent, especially for the price! All in all, this has been a great experience and I look forward to turning this on every day!

Good, but….
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. The receiver works fine with no issues. Each button and dial works as it should. No complaints really other than the style. The style is kind of old and outdated. Could use some re-designing.
