Love love love it!!
This is a fantastic little portable speaker. The sound is plenty loud, and quite excellent for such a small speaker. The accompanying app gives you a lot of ways to optimize your listening experience. And last but not least, it is really stylish. I bought the purple one, and it is very vivid. I love it! Battery life seems decent enough at 7 hours. The ability to pair 2 of these together for stereo sound prompted me to buy another. Don’t hesitate - you won’t regret buying one of these little guys!

I used to buy nothing but Bose products and replacing it every 8 months because they would break. Now i changed to JBL and the sound is substantially better, while the price is also unmatchable. I am in the music business and I have replaced all my equipment with JBL. So I say no to Bose, and yes to JBL.

Best little speaker in every way.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few portable speakers and I have to that the JBL GO is my hands down favorite. The sound quality for such a small speaker is impressive and it lasts for between 6-8 hours per charge for me. When the weather was a little chillier I would hike with it in the pouch of my hoodie and now that it’s warmer it fits in the cell phone pocket of my shorts. I use it everyday when taking my dogs for a hike.

The Perfect Ultralight, Portable Speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this little speaker. It is so small and convenient to keep attached to my backpack by way of a carabiner. The sound is MUCH more than I expected! I love my JBL Charge and my JBL Boombox for different lccasions, but this one is hands down the most convenient for keeping the music rolling during work hours and in places where loud music isn't quite so acceptable. I also love how it's flat on the front and back instead of round, making it more packable in small pockets. About hours of battery life and I used it a LOT over the last few days

"Big Things Come In Small Packages"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was hoping this would be a convenient grab and go speaker - it turned out to be that and a whole lot more! The JBL GO4 ROCKS!!! I was very impressed at the sound and the quality packed into this little speaker. It can hold its weight against some speakers 2 to 3 times it's size. Connected easily and works well with the JBL app. I also like the fact that it comes with the latest Bluetooth technology Auracast which allows you to connect other speakers, even different types that also utilize this new technology. Long battery life of up to 7 hours is also great in a speaker this size. It is also waterproof and dustproof so you don't have to worry about it on your adventures, bike rides, hiking, pool, pickleball, walks, you name it.

Great on the go speaker with amazing sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Go 4 in the box… the speaker and a 12” charging cord, quick start guide booklet and safety instruction/warranty booklet. It takes 3 hours to charge and in return you get a 7 hours power life. JBL Go 4 is the ideal size speaker for on the go fitting perfectly in your hand and comes with a small loop that can be used to attach a hook and clip to bags or whatever you would like. Set up took less than a minute, only 2 steps and was extremely simple. While the size of the speaker may be small the sound is mighty! The sound is crystal clear even at the maximum volume, it does not become distorted. With the app you are able to control the equalizers on your speaker for your own personalized pleasure. The design is aesthetically pleasing and durable. One of my favorite features is that this speaker is waterproof (1m for a duration of 30 minutes) which makes it perfect for taking to the pool or beach. I love my JBL Go 4 the sound is incredible and an easy and convenient speaker to bring the music party where ever you go.

The little pocket rocket Speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product that I am reviewing is the JBL Go 4. It really is the pocket speaker or shall I say Bluetooth pocket speaker. The sound is really clear. You can feel the vibrations of the base when you’re holding it and it’s just really a fun little speaker to take out with you or if you’re just by the pool working on your car. Sometimes if you want a little bit more higher volume than what your phone can provide it works great for that. Just have a little external speaker. The sound is actually pretty dang good, especially for the size of it. It really can fit in your pocket. The feel of it is very nice. It feels solid. You can stand it upright or on its back with the rubber feet. Overall, I’m actually very happy with it and how it performs.

Great Portable Speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Go4 is a great sounding small speaker with a minor annoyance. The Go4 is the perfect size speaker for what I use in my bathroom for music. It doesn’t take up much room on our shelf and the sound is surprisingly loud for a speaker of this size. The build quality of the Go4 is fantastic, every part of it feels premium. The feet on the bottom and back are great and the loop feels secure and premium as well. The JBL App is great, it has multiple EQ settings you can choose from or it does have a 5 band EQ where you can adjust to your liking. For my use, I ended up using the JBL Signature EQ setting, it had the best overall sound. Plenty of bass with some really great mids and highs.
The annoyance that I have is the Auracast/PartyBoost, the issue that I have is my Boombox 3 and my Go4 can’t pair up. I’m not sure if AuraCast and PartyBoost were ever supposed to work together but the JBL app does show my boombox 3 as a speaker to connect with but they won’t connect. Hopefully this gets fixed with a future update.
I also want to mention that I love that JBL is using more sustainable packaging in all of their products.

Loud and very portable for any type of weather!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this JBL go 4 i use it mostly at work, and the volume is pretty loud, what i also like is that you can use the jbl app and has an option to turn on a volume boost which helps because in my shop it can get really loud sometimes because of our tire machines. I also tried it in the shower took the water pretty good just noticed that when it gets soaked or put in water the sound gets muffled a little but all i did was shake the water out the speaker and original sound came back right away i like that. Its also very portable fits perfect in my sweater pocket or jean pockets battery life is very good if you listen to it at normal levels, i like mine loud and both spanish and english music sounds very good

Right out of the sustainable packaging, this speaker was easy to set up and pair, the JBL app offered additional controls for EQ and Playtime Boost. I did not like the sound quality with the play time boost, you sacrifice the richness of the JBL Signature sound, so don't forget to charge the speaker before the party. I really want to add a second speaker to make use of the stereo group, this will be a great setup for campfire nights. I love the styling with the big JBL logo and the orange trim. The finger loop works great for secure carrying. For this price point, this speaker can not be beat!

Small Size Big Sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great portable speaker.This thing is small enough to carry around without the bulk.Its very rugged with high quality feel.It's great for my job in a industrial environment.The Bluetooth connects without any issues.The buttons are easy to understand and use.Has a braided hook that's well made.The sound is great for the size i honestly didn't think it be good for my line of work but i was wrong.I use it for 8 hours at work and battery holds up at about 60-75% volume.It charges in less than a hour at least that's my experience.Its also a great gift.I dont have 2 otherwise I can play them both in stereo mode.I didn't use that feature but its available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everybody should have one of these speakers. It's small size, quality look and feel, surprising sound and convenience will have you bringing it everywhere!
Listening to music while working out, going for a ride on an e-scooter, working on the car or listening to the game at a BBQ.. even playing rain storm sounds all night to sleep in a hotel, this little speaker makes it all so convenient.
As for the sound.. owning many JBL Bluetooth speakers, including an original JBL GO, I am surprised and impressed! This is a significantly different speaker than the older versions, and really is worth upgrading to. The bass is surprising for it being so small! It's actually fun just to hold it while it's thumping along. If you place it on a wood coffee table, it powerful enough to use the table to create additional bass. Treble is decent, but really livens up with the JBL Signature EQ setting via the app.
For outdoors, where you want more volume and bass doesn't matter as much, you can use "Power Save" mode via the app. This actually increases the volume AND saves battery, at the cost of reducing low-end bass that you wouldn't hear outside anyway.
Finally.. the quality. It feels nice just to hold it, and it looks very "quality" as well. Add to that an app with a preset and customizable EQ that actually works, plus the ability to pair two of them for stereo sound (of which I will try soon), IP67 waterproof and dustproof, and more battery life than I cared to test and I think this is, like I said, something that everyone should have.

Small powerhouse

Amazing Little Speaker - Perfect In So Many Ways
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The speaker itself is incredibly compact (see pictures). At less than 4 inches wide and about 1.5 inches thick, it's a great companion to have wherever you go.
It stood out the most while golfing. I bought a small carabiner clip to attach the speaker to my golf bag and I can't describe how perfect it was: out of the way, terrific and clear sound with deep bass and plenty of volume. The speaker easily lasted the entire round and most of the way into a round the next day.
Also, I found this speaker to be extremely nice to bring hiking, working in the garage, and cleaning up around the house. I was very pleasantly surprised to hear the quality of the sound (even at high volumes) in an array of spaces and the speaker had plenty of power to keep going. Anyone looking for anything from a small desk speaker to a tag along for adventures, this speaker is the right one.

A lot of sound in a small device
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This small speaker packs a powerful sound. It can fit in a jacket pocket, purse, or bookbag easily. It is simple to use and I like how you can place it on multiple sides. It is dust and waterproof to a certain extent which means that you can essentially take it anywhere. The bass is actually surprising in a good way and it was hard to believe that so much sound came out of something so small. The only thing that I really didn't care for was the small loop/handle that is attached. You can only fit a finger in it and doesn't seem like it has a true use. It would be nice if it was able to clip to your clothes or bookbag while being able to use it. The battery life is great, as always for JBL products. It also appears to be able to connect to other similar speakers to expand the sound decently over a location. Overall, very impressive speaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker was smaller than expected! Let me tell you that for its size the JBL Go 4 puts out an amazing sound! This is the smallest JBL speaker I own but it quickly became my favorite, always have it playing music on my work desk. The portability and sound quality makes this little speaker an always win. Starting off with the sound, the bass is definitely there and the vocal are really clear. The JBL Portable app makes it easy to update and tune the sound, I tried all the EQ presets and the JBL Signature EQ is my favorite since it balances everything and makes my music sound very good! The buttons on the unit are easy to locate and press. The one thing I don't like is the loop, it limits the object I can hang the speaker from, a clip or carabiner would have been great to give me more option to hang the speaker. Overall I'm really happy with this speaker and now I can take this speaker with me everywhere since it's easy to fit in a backpack or large pocket. Keep up the good work JBL!

Great on the Go!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL GO 4 is a boom above the rest! I have used this tiny box full of boom during my hikes, my biking trails, my weekend dog walks! It is light. It has a sturdy loop to hook it wherever I need to. My jeans, my belt, my bike, my dogs harness. It’s compact and never lets you miss a step with its beautiful bass. If you are in exercise mode, it is a great sidekick. I will say, it being a 4, I would have expected a bigger difference. The only things that are different are a few buttons and you can change the EQ on the speaker itself. I do think that is a plus, but if you use the app you can do it that way with the others as well.

The Go4 is about the size of my palm. It would be great for a small quiet area. In my line of work, the Go4 does not really cut it because I work in construction and is not loud enough for my environment. The Go4 could be a great option for a noise machine for a baby in the car. The battery life will last 7 hours on a low setting but if it’s turned all the way up, it only lasted about 4 hours. Over all, it’s a really nice compact speaker that seems very durable with a sleek look. I would recommend only if you’re looking for a speaker that does not have to be very loud.

Strengths are retained, questionable connectivity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sound and portability advantage is retained. We do like the solid feel of the speaker. Unfortunately our speaker does suffer in Bluetooth connectivity for iPhone 14 and iPad Pro, the intermittent static noise is more noticeable in frequency and severity especially when we compared it to our Go 3.
