Designed and engineered at our world-famous Acoustic Engineering Center of Excellence in Northridge, California, the Stage 200P is a 300W powered subwoofer perfectly matched with the entire Stage series and deliver the low frequency excitement that customers crave. This subwoofer features a front-firing high excursion 10-inch (250mm) Polycellulose low-frequency woofer with dual rear firing tuned ports that provides deep, powerful, signature JBL bass. A full complement of controls provides for easy system integration.Features:
Rear-Mounted Volume, Crossover, Phase, and Power Controls
The rear mounted controls include a variable low-pass 50-150Hz crossover, so it can be dialed in precisely under the main channels and the power can remain on or be set to Auto to save energy.
Line-Level LFE Input

All about the Bass
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker rounds out the complete sound profile with low tones. This series isn't for small spaces (smaller apartments). If you want to get the best out of it, it needs room to breath.
The entire stage 2 series is amazing. It works in med to xx-large spaces. I wouldn't buy it for an apartment under 1200sqft. Your neighbors wouldn't like you very much. The sound is powerful and smooth. I did need some assistance with the installation because I didn't want wires showing and im not comfortable going into walls. If you want the system to look as good as it sounds, you should have someone to help you. Be sure to read the instruction manuel or you will miss out on features like speaker placement which makes an overall difference in the sound. I definitely understand why its a stage series as the sound is stage worthy. I have been buying JBL for years and this system continnues to exemplify the success of the company by stepping up the quality of sound a regular person can have access to in their home. Just FYI, Snoop had his JBL speaker on the bus with the USA men's basketball team during the Olympics and it made me proud to be a JBL supporter myself!

Movie theater Bass
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holy smokes, this subwoofer really packs a punch! If you’re serious about creating a true home cinema experience, you know that bass is essential. Movies just aren’t the same without that deep, powerful impact, and this subwoofer delivers exactly that.
Not only does it sound incredible, but it was also a breeze to install and looks fantastic. It might look smaller in pictures, but in person, it’s definitely bigger—and you can immediately tell it’s built with quality materials as soon as you pick it up. The magnetic cover is a nice touch, and it fits in perfectly with the rest of my speakers.
The sound quality is the cherry on top when you add this subwoofer to your setup. It takes everything to the next level!

Powerful

I have the Espresso color with a magnetic grille at the front. I love the sleek modern look and it complements my room well. I was really surprised by how easy it was to set up. Plug right in to the AVR, adjust, and be prepared for the power! The bass is deep, powerful, and precise, making it perfect for both movies and music. Whether I'm watching an action-packed film or listening to my favorite tracks, the subwoofer delivers a captivating sound that fills the room. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their home audio system!

Quality, Audiophile-Grade Subwoofer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Stage 200p is simply a killer subwoofer. With its 10" front-firing woofer and 150 watts of power, this subwoofer delivers a rich, deep bass that perfectly complements my 2.1 stereo configuration. I'm using it alongside JBL bookshelf speakers and a JBL receiver. I feel like the system all together provides a luxurious, audiophile experience.
Simplicity is the name of the game here. Volume adjustment is straightforward, and it connects easily to the receiver’s subwoofer out via an RCA cable. It's super simple to connect and adjust- plug it in, connect it to the receiver, adjust the crossover and volume. It even has a phase switch which would be a life-saver if needed! (I didn't need it)
Initially, I found the bass to be a bit soft, but after adjusting the EQ on my receiver, the subwoofer came to life with a powerful and precise response. This subwoofer isn’t just about booming club bass—it does that if you want—it’s designed to provide a balanced bottom end that enhances the overall fidelity of a full-range sound system.
On the aesthetic side, the subwoofer has a sleek espresso woodgrain finish that fits well with most decor, though I do wish the color was a tad darker. The magnetic grill, while convenient, tends to come off a bit too easily for my taste.
Overall, the JBL Stage 200p is an audiophile’s subwoofer, designed to deliver rich, high-fidelity bass that enhances any audio experience. I use it to watch movies, stream music, or gaming, and this subwoofer provides the perfect bottom end.

CLEAN + POWERFUL = Stage 200
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing produces some of the cleanest bass I’ve ever heard. This front facing sub puts the bass in the air around you. Ive been listening to music with it and when I tell you it can get into those low frequencies…MAN!
Don’t even get me started on watching movies with this thing. This sub has you feeling like you’re at the theater. This Sub is where clean meets powerful.

I don’t live in a theatre..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t live in a theatre, but my neighbors think I do. With the convince of portability, the simplicity of Bluetooth and the amazing sound quality coming from today’s popular smaller speakers, I haven’t had want for much else. But, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a full system and I decided it was time. Time to go big. 7.1 big. I had no idea what I was in for. Sounds now come from not only front, behind and deep within, but also from above. I’ve had to hit pause to investigate if the noises were coming from inside or outside of my house. The JBL MA710 receiver paired with the 200 series speakers will drive nails out of your joists. Crystal clearly. Set up is very straight forward. The packaging is impeccable as always. Once connected you can dial in channels and frequencies, along with Dolby and Atmos options. The charcoal magnetic grille covers complement the handsome wood grain finish of all the speakers and sub. While the MA710 has a beautiful glass front I was a bit let down by the old school mono-color analog looking display. Nit picky, I know, but IT deserves better. Luckily you can time the display to go blank in seconds. I also appreciate the auto off on timed idle option. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the JBL app to work on my iPhone, so I cannot speak to its interface with the system. Bottom line, if you want truer than life home theater sound or incredible stage presence, this is where it’s at.

Rumbling Bass
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL 200P 10" sub woofer has a built in amplifier with 150w (continuous power) with a max power of 300w. All this power makes for a very powerful sub. Some of the features I really like the most are the really cool magnetic grille, adjustable woofer volume, and adjust the crossover right on the back of the sub. This sub puts out a very nice deep bass, punchy yet loud and thunderous. The sub came with a really nice oxygen free cable to attach to my JBL MA310 receiver. It is a perfect size for our living room and color matches the rest of the Stage 2 speakers. What is most impressive is the 5 year warranty that comes with this sub woofer. This woofer is by far the best sub we have ever had as part of out home audio surround sound components.

Powerful..Crisp…Clean! Adds so much depth!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to start out with one word…..WOW! The earth shattering power this sub puts out is beyond words. The ease of set up and how user friendly this sub was incredibly convenient. This sub is incredibly powerful and adds so much more depth to the sound coming out of my speakers that I was blown away, almost quite literally. Sometimes you hear subwoofers and it’s really muffle or distorted, NOT THIS ONE! The bass and the power were so clean, it’s just added to experience!

Rock Solid Subwoofer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stage 200P subwoofer is a well-built sub that outperforms many others in its class. It's a hefty piece that looks sleek and luxurious - the magnetic cover is a plus. Keep in mind that it only has a Line-Level LFE input, so make sure your receiver has a corresponding output before purchasing. It has adjustable crossover and volume controls that at times seem fairly "finicky" - sometimes the smallest adjustment makes a huge difference while other times, it seems to do nothing. Despite this minor complaint, the sub delivers a great performance in both watching movies and listening to music. It's large woofer packs a deep punch in just about every scenario. It allows the other speakers in my system to shine in the highs and mids while the sub handles the lows. It brings a much broader soundscape to the system. For an entry level, audiophile quality sub, this really hits the mark!

Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty good product. The speaker works well. The sound and quality are pretty good. No muffling or abnormal sounds. It’s a pretty good size. Fits into my tv stand easily. Wish there were buttons to adjust it on the back tho.

Nice look, but only works LOUD
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Subwoofer has a nice design and a good look. The footprint is bigger than expected (more depth) for a speaker cone of that size. The magnetic dust cover is great, easily remove to expose the face of the speaker and then snaps right back on.
Performance-wise I have one main takeaway, it only performs well at high volumes. There is a very defined precipice of the sub basically not engaging at all and blasting. It only seems to have a volume of loud. So assuming you're using it in a large space or somewhere you'll be listening at theater levels it will perform fantastically, but isn't suited for more casual listening or for use in an apartment.
It also feels like it has a built in crossover, even with the cross-over open all the way it only really sounds the subfrequencies, which is fine as long as you've got decent floor-standing units to carry the low mids.
All in all, using it in my apartment is a bit useless. I'm on the third floor and I can't push it loud enough for the woofer to truly engage due to proximity to neighbors.
