Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong sound that permeates the atmophere! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to start by stating the packaging was empecible. Double boxes with foam kept the tower speakers snug & secure, despite the weight for delivery. Each had luxury like dust bags that protected the surfaces from scratches. The tower speakers are a strong addition to any TV or gaming system. They deliver powerful, clear, and crisp sound, enhancing your audio experience with depth and precision. The sleek design also complements a modern entertainment setup. The sound radiates the atmophere permeating voluminous sound throughout the entertainment space & beyond! The surround sound provided by the tower speakers is unmatched. They offer an immersive audio experience, making every movie and game come to life with exceptional clarity and depth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek Look [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The entire stage 2 series is amazing. It works in med to xx-large spaces. I wouldn't buy it for an apartment under 1200sqft. Your neighbors wouldn't like you very much. The sound is powerful and smooth. I did need some assistance with the installation because I didn't want wires showing and im not comfortable going into walls. If you want the system to look as good as it sounds, you should have someone to help you. Be sure to read the instruction manuel or you will miss out on features like speaker placement which makes an overall difference in the sound. I definitely understand why its a stage series as the sound is stage worthy. I have been buying JBL for years and this system continnues to exemplify the success of the company by stepping up the quality of sound a regular person can have access to in their home. Just FYI, Snoop had his JBL speaker on the bus with the USA men's basketball team during the Olympics and it made me proud to be a JBL supporter myself!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Movie theater speakers at home [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 260F loudspeakers are truly impressive. I’ve found myself rewatching movies and TV shows just to experience the true surround sound they deliver when paired with the rest of my JBL setup. The sound quality is crystal clear, and the design is top-notch. For a while, I had these set up without the covers, but honestly, they look fantastic either way. Setup was a breeze—connecting them to my MA710 receiver was simple, and I easily configured the distance to get the perfect sound. I’m thankful my neighbors aren’t too close, because there’s no going back now—movie nights have to be cranked up to full cinema mode. So grab your popcorn, because these speakers will blow you away!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Speakers with Great, Clear Sound [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with how well these speakers are made. These look even better in person than they do online. JBL has also made the process of setting up so easy with every piece well labeled. It took my husband and I no time at all with the seamless install. Once we got these babies turned on, I fell immediately in love with the sound. The audio is so organic and clear. We watched Gladiator and felt like we were in the Colosseum. I'm so very happy with these and can't wait for my family to visit soon so I can show them my new obsession!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I don’t live in a theatre.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t live in a theatre, but my neighbors think I do. With the convince of portability, the simplicity of Bluetooth and the amazing sound quality coming from today’s popular smaller speakers, I haven’t had want for much else. But, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a full system and I decided it was time. Time to go big. 7.1 big. I had no idea what I was in for. Sounds now come from not only front, behind and deep within, but also from above. I’ve had to hit pause to investigate if the noises were coming from inside or outside of my house. The JBL MA710 receiver paired with the 200 series speakers will drive nails out of your joists. Crystal clearly. Set up is very straight forward. The packaging is impeccable as always. Once connected you can dial in channels and frequencies, along with Dolby and Atmos options. The charcoal magnetic grille covers complement the handsome wood grain finish of all the speakers and sub. While the MA710 has a beautiful glass front I was a bit let down by the old school mono-color analog looking display. Nit picky, I know, but IT deserves better. Luckily you can time the display to go blank in seconds. I also appreciate the auto off on timed idle option. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the JBL app to work on my iPhone, so I cannot speak to its interface with the system. Bottom line, if you want truer than life home theater sound or incredible stage presence, this is where it’s at.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade from TV audio [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Started to expand the audio quality on my living room TV for music and movies and these are definitely good pieces to begin with. If you're listening to something with a good bass you're going to be enjoying it. Also if you're watching a movie with tons of action, it's going to bring the sound you want to hear. These things stand gorgeously in my setup, I love the magnetic covers for the speakers. They are very easy to set up and get listening quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dig the simple, sleek, and modern design. For a floor speaker it’s the perfect size - not too tall or wide, and nicely slim. The magnetic speaker cover is great - it lines up perfectly in place. Music and movies sound so much better now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Backbone of the Stage 2 System [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stage 260F floor speakers are the backbone of the Stage 2 system. These speakers are very well-built and appear to be quite solid. They are sleek and minimalistic, even luxurious looking - the magnetic cover is a nice touch! The wire connectors are also sturdy and have the option to add height speakers on top (more on that in a bit). The sound of the speakers are a little uneven in the native state on their own. The highs are bright and crisp. The mids are serviceable. The lows have a bit to be desired without EQ and the addition of a subwoofer. The soundstage is a bit tight for my liking while watching a movie but especially listening to music. It is clear that these speakers were meant to be a part of a larger system. And when a subwoofer, height speakers and center channel are added, these speakers show off their true intent. They really shine as the primary treble and mid drivers of the system. In this, they really excel. And when adding EQ and Dolby Atmos, this becomes a truly exceptional surround sound system!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for amazing sound [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starting off with the overall build and look of these speakers, because they are simple yet elegant in their styling. They are solid and are much heavier than I expected which is good since the sound is nice and directional and doesn't 'leak' from the sides. They also come with what I can only describe as 'spiked feet' so that the contact of the speaker is as minimal as possible to reduce any sort of reverberations going into the floor. There are also simple rubber feet if you don't want to scratch the flooring and they do just as good as the feet. What I also love is the placement of the positive and negative terminals, both are located at the bottom of the unit for quick and easy access. On top of that, the addition of a rubber gasket on the back reveals there is the ability to add Dolby Atmos supported tweeters for future expansion of this setup. And the performance of these speakers is something to be desired. The one thing I found is that they were lacking in the low end performance. Now, I understand that these are supposed to be paired with a dedicated subwoofer, but even by themselves they didn't have as much kick to them. What I mean by that is they don't have the 'rumble' kind of bass, of course, but most speakers can reproduce what I call a 'kick kind of bass'. It's forceful and impactful and simply adds to the balanced nature of the audio instead of being overpowering. The highs and mids are where these speakers shine. Normal TV watching and dialouge is where most people will notice a nice crystal clear tone. One thing I liked in particular is the fact that the reproduction of voices and music on the higher end of the sounds spectrum don't leave your ears fatigued. It's best described as being clear without peircing through all the other instruments or music. It's overall well rounded and not harsh sounding.
