Great Microwave

I love the ease of cleaning and ability to heat multiple items with no rotating dish. It does a great job of heating and reheating food and is very powerful. I installed it myself replacing an older unit and it was very easy to do.

Good microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good with this new microwave. Bought this one to replace an older one from the Architect series. Wish KitchenAid did not discontinue the Architect series or at least keep the handle style the same for one of the models as an option so the new unit can match the other appliances. However, we are glad that KitchenAid kept the same measurements so the install was very easy. Just take the old unit off the wall and pop the new one in.

Food cooks quickly and heats evenly

The only thing I would change is the kitchen timer - you have to open the door to program and start it. Wish there were a way to operate the timer with the door closed.

OMG I'm in LOVE!!

It sits flush with my kitchen cabinets in my normal kitchen (not one of these modern "gourmet" built-in kinda kitchens, just a down home home) and look really sleak. I like the power of the vent fan and the automatic way the vent at the top opens. Controls are easy to use, the handle is hidden so no gunky build-up from messy hands.

Obviously, it’s a beautiful piece of equipment, with its sleek design and hidden buttons, but it’s more than just a pretty face! It has all the usual cook, defrost and reheat functions, but also has melt, soften and keep warm options. I was worried the inside may not be large enough, but even our large square plates fit nicely, I’m extremely happy with my purchase!

Perfect design

The microwave’s no handle and flush mount cabinet depth looks modern, clean and pleasing to the eye. Once we figured out the command sequences the sensor cook functions are the best. The absence of a turntable is a huge plus as the interior is so easy to clean and the food is cooked perfect and evenly every time. Installation was straight forward, however, may not be for the average homeowner.

This is an over the range microwave with a very clean finish and door. The inside is a little smaller than I thought it would be but it works! It does not have a turning plate but works just as well. I love the look of it! It was easy to figure out and has been very easy to use.

It was a little challenging to get the hang of because you have to enter the time before you close the door, but so well worth it. It doesn't have a handle, instead it has a slot underneath to pull from or a button to push to open. It also doesn't have a tray inside that rotates. Must buy!

This over the range Microwave was a game changer, it almost feels like my counters are empty and missing something, which it is .... the old microwave! I will never again have a microwave on the counter after having this over the range microwave installed, it is pure freedome for me and my counter tops! This microwave is the top shelf of kitchen appliances, it fits flush, looks space age and sleek while being luxurious at the same time, and It is so quiet compared to our other microwaves we've used in the past, we could hardly tell it was on!
