Love the look of this cooktop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this gas on glass cooktop! It’s super sleek and very aesthetically pleasing. The glass surface is stunning and has a really high-end look to it. The grates are heavy duty and constructed well. It’s rather easy to clean, but like any glass cook surface it can be a little tricky — regardless, it’s totally worth it to have such a great looking cooktop! In my opinion, this is much better than a stainless steel or ceramic top. It functions well and looks amazing. It definitely exceeds the expectations I had for it! Highly recommended!

Stylish, functional, and a great upgrade!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the KitchenAid 30” Gas-on-Glass Cooktop, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my kitchen. The sleek glass surface not only looks modern but also makes cleaning a breeze—spills wipe away effortlessly. I appreciate the thoughtfully designed layout, which accommodates multiple pots and pans without feeling crowded. The stainless steel knobs feel sturdy and add a professional touch. One minor downside is that the control panel can be sensitive; I’ve accidentally activated it while cleaning. Overall, this cooktop combines style, power, and ease of use, making cooking a more enjoyable experience.

Wonderful cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this cooktop to use in our future kitchen post remodeling, and we couldn't be happier with it. I love that it installs straight into the counter, leaving space for cabinets below it. It has 5 burners, which is great for our large family. The quality of Kitchenaid items is unparalleled. The sleek design is beautiful. I knew we wanted this when choosing appliances for our new kitchen.

Gas cooktop it is a great choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omg I love this cooktop, it is so stylish!!! Not only does it look sleek and modern with its black glass surface and sturdy cast-iron grates, but it’s also functional. Here is some of the features that I absolutely love about it: precise Flame Control, when the knobs let me easily adjust the flame intensity, giving me perfect control for everything from a quick boil to a gentle simmer and it’s so fast at boiling water compared to my old electric cooktop. I like glass surface, because it easy to wipe down after cooking.
To celebrate this upgrade, first what I cooked was one of my favorite Ukrainian dishes—borscht and it was so much joy to cook it on gas. Borscht was amazing. Now I started cooking more often 😅

Great for canning, love the big burner in the midd
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cook top is very nice! I love that the big/hot burner is in the center. We got this for our summer kitchen to do our canning. My big pressure cooker fits nicely on the center burner with room for other pots on the other burners. The glass top seems to be easy to clean and the grates are standard grates. Installation was quick and easy. If I had one criticism, it would be the knobs to turn on the burners. They may be difficult to use for someone with dexterity or hand grip issues. Over all though, very nice cook top!

The 30” KitchenAid Gas-on-Glass Cooktop combines s
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 30” KitchenAid Gas-on-Glass Cooktop is a sleek and modern addition to any kitchen, combining professional-grade performance with an elegant design. Here’s an in-depth review covering installation, cleaning, safety features, cooking performance, and design:
Installation
Installation of this cooktop is relatively straightforward for professionals and DIYers with some experience. The cooktop comes with clear instructions and is designed to fit most standard 30” cutouts, making replacement or new installation hassle-free. However, due to the gas connection, it is recommended to have a licensed technician install the unit to ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper functioning.
Cleaning
The “gas-on-glass” design makes cleaning significantly easier than traditional gas cooktops. The smooth glass surface prevents spills from seeping into hard-to-reach areas. Burners and grates are removable, allowing for thorough cleaning. A simple wipe with a damp cloth or a non-abrasive cleaner is sufficient for daily maintenance. For tougher spills, the glass surface is durable enough to handle more intensive cleaning without scratching.
Safety Features
KitchenAid has equipped this cooktop with multiple safety features, including:
• Flame-Sensing Technology: Automatically shuts off the gas supply if the flame is accidentally extinguished, preventing gas leaks.
• Knob Placement: Knobs are positioned at the front of the cooktop for easy access, reducing the risk of burns while adjusting heat.
• Sealed Burners: These prevent food or liquids from entering the gas lines, enhancing safety and reducing maintenance.
Cooking Performance
This cooktop excels in cooking performance, offering:
• Powerful Burners: The burners provide a wide range of heat outputs, from a low simmer (ideal for delicate sauces) to high heat for quick boiling or stir-frying.
• Even Heat Distribution: The high-quality burners ensure even cooking, making it easier to achieve consistent results.
• Simmer Burner: A dedicated low-BTU burner allows precise control for tasks like melting chocolate or simmering soups.
Design
The cooktop’s minimalist design is a standout feature. The black glass surface is sleek and pairs well with modern kitchen aesthetics. The cast-iron grates have a professional look and are continuous, making it easy to slide pots and pans across the surface. The sturdy knobs have a premium feel and are resistant to wear and tear.
Pros
• Elegant, easy-to-clean glass surface
• Excellent cooking performance with versatile burners
• Robust safety features
• Durable and stylish design
Cons
• Glass surface can show smudges and fingerprints easily
• Professional installation may be required for optimal setup
• Slightly higher price point compared to traditional gas cooktops
Conclusion
The 30” KitchenAid Gas-on-Glass Cooktop is a premium choice for those seeking both style and functionality. Its powerful cooking performance, ease of cleaning, and safety features make it a practical yet luxurious option for modern kitchens. While the upfront cost and professional installation might be considerations, the overall quality and long-term benefits justify the investment.

Its gettin hot in here
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone in the process of remodeling my kitchen, I knew that I needed a better experience with cooktops and this gas-on-glass one is by far the best I think I’ll ever use. The quality is immaculate and the build and form factor is high quality as well, it fits perfectly and the flames are intense but easily controllable with one of the 5 eyes. KitchenAid has world class products that I can’t imagine any other brand being comparable to, and this is one of them.

Great alternative to stainless steel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the burner configuration with the simmer burner in the back & how reactive the flame is to adjustment. The burner markings are also very clear. Having the grates integrated into the burner ring offers easy placement & stability. The cooktop is not very easy to clean. Once you remove all of the grease or food residue the top is really streaked. I now am using a special cloth that I bought for my shower doors with a spray of water to get all of the streaks off the glass. Therefore the 4 star rating.

Super quality, not as easy to clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Performance would be a 5 star. The flames are powerful, and quality of materials is very good.
My overall rating is a 4 star only because the glass top is not as easy to clean as my previous porcelain coated steel gas cooktop. I need to polish it with vinegar and water every time I wipe it clean, if I don't want streaks.
