This 72-inch refrigerator is three inches taller than a standard counter-depth refrigerator. It fills the gap that can be left above many refrigerators, adding to its integrated appeal. A pull-out freezer drawer allows you to organize frozen items on three levels. And with the ExtendFresh Temperature Management System all of your ingredients will be held at the optimum temperature to maximize their flavor and texture.

Separately monitors the temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer through a sensor located in each, to help ensure fresh fruit juices don't become frozen and prawns avoid freezer burn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our fridge for close to month now and are very pleased. I love the space in the freezer and the ice maker is great. I also love the water dispenser inside for a clean sleek look on the outside. It does drip for about a second after you're doing filling so we had to get used to waiting a second before pulling the cup or water bottle away. The crisper drawers are keeping food fresh much longer than my old fridge. All in all, very pleased! We are working through a kitchen remodel and replacing all appliances with KitchenAid.

The space is this new French door counter depth has made my life so much easier. Items are well organized and easy to find and retrieve. The water comes out cold which didn’t happen in the old fridge. I would prefer the dispenser to be on the right side however. I was amazed how easily the refrigerators came out and slid back in. And having the water filter inside is a thousand times better than lying on the floor to change!

Love the clean look

I really love it -- purchase some bins to put smaller jars etc in so that they dont get lost in the back and it works like a charm. when I use the water dispense inside on the left, I still have to open both doors (not just left door) to close it but that is a small inconvenience. Everything else is great so far.

We love it! We didn’t want the ice/water dispenser on the outside because of all the door space it takes up. The refrigerator is solid and the shelves can be moved. The door space is roomy. I love the water dispenser inside the door. The ice maker is great. We really love this refrigerator and hope it lasts a long time. It is the nicest refrigerator we’ve ever had.

Looks cleaner without tte water/ice in door. It was always dripping down the front! More than sufficient room up top but freezer is a bit tight, probably because of the space taken up by the ice bin. So far, so good!

I appreciate the temperature readings more than I thought I would, it gives me comfort to know things are correctly cooled. I also love the “max cool” feature for when the door needs to be open longer for unloading groceries. The extra freezer shelf makes a big difference too. We call it the pizza shelf, since it’s a perfect place for one. Overall, the look, the function and the little extras make us really glad we made this purchase!

Meets my needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the same refrigerator I had for 12 years under the Viking name, made by Kitchenaid. I liked it so much - and had zero service calls in 12 years - that I bought the same appliance with the Kitchenaid logo. So far, so good. It's a beautiful fridge and the stainless cleans nicely. The temperature control has been great, it is quiet, and the ice maker works perfectly. There are some negatives would give me pause if I had children. First, as many have mentioned, the shelves do not go to the back of the fridge. If you keep your fridge stuffed full, this will drive you nuts. Second, the right door has to be opened first and the left door has to be closed first. I've been doing that for 12 years so it's second nature to me, but if you have kids, the strip that seals the doors will eventually break if the doors are not opened and closed in the right sequence. I think it's the perfect fridge for a single or couple, but not a family fridge.
