This 22.6 cu ft. side-by-side refrigerator features the Preserva Food Care System. Its two independent cooling systems help keep food fresh while the FreshFlow Air Filter minimizes odors, and the Produce Preserver delays over-ripening. The counter-depth design gives the high-end look of built-in refrigerators and the PrintShield Finish resists fingerprints and smudges on the stainless exterior.

PrintShield Finish
resists smudges and fingerprints. The specialized coating for stainless steel is easy to clean with just water and a soft cloth, so you can spend more time cooking and less time cleaning up.
LED lighting
uses less energy than incandescent bulbs. Multiple lights are purposefully placed throughout the refrigerator and freezer, making it easy to find items at a glance.
In-Door-Ice System
adds interior room in the refrigerator with an ice bin that mounts on the inside left door to allow for extra space on the shelves.

Measured Water Fill
Displays and automatically dispenses water in ounces, cups or liters. You can choose from three programmed settings to pour a measured amount. Plus, two custom presets can be programmed for items you frequently fill like a coffee pot or water bottle.
Exterior and Ice and Water Dispenser
provides quick and easy access to chilled water and ice.
Clear Door Bins with Metallic Accents
allow you to see labels right through the bins, giving you visibility and easy access to your condiments and other items. Each bin is removable, making them perfect for carrying items to the counter.
Sabbath Mode (Star-K Certified)
This KitchenAid Refrigerator is endorsed by STAR-K Kosher Certification for use on the Jewish Sabbath and other religious holidays. Turning on Sabbath Mode disables the refrigerator's automatic lights and alarm tones.

What an upgrade!

Now I almost with it was ready to be replaced earlier, because this new model is so amazing. It seems so much brighter inside and thoughtfully designed - everything has a plac! A fridge that that has a good reliability record. It is counter depth but seems to have less capacity than my other counter depth fridge. I am happy with it though thr wine rack that came with it for the fridge side is useless as it takes up so much space. I wish it was an optional piece. I'd rather have another shelf for the freezer side. I hope this one lasts a long time.

Thanks to Whirlpool for "making it right" for us! This refrigerator has none of the issues I read about in other customers reviews, in fact it is great, no issues at all with it's operation or interior shelves and drawers. Everything works and fits as it should. I will say this in closing the interior is significantly better than it's Whirlpool counterparts. I recommend spending the extra $$$$ to get the KitchenAid.

Enjoy all the new features plus the filtered water and ice have a refreshing and healthy taste. However, I feel the drawers on this new refrigerator need improving. They do not slide very easily and appear to slightly inferior to the rest of the refrigerator features. Other than the drawers, I absolutely love my new stainless steel kitchen appliance!

For me it’s all the FEATURES, DESIGN and SPACE! It’s super important for organization! Good Quality Refrigerator
