This 24.8 cu ft. side-by-side refrigerator features the Preserva Food Care System. Its two independent cooling systems help keep food fresh while the FreshFlow Air Filter minimizes odors, and the Produce Preserver delays over-ripening. PrintShield Finish on the stainless steel exterior resists fingerprints and smudges for easy cleaning.

resists smudges and fingerprints. The specialized coating for stainless steel is easy to clean with just water and a soft cloth, so you can spend more time cooking and less time cleaning up.
LED lighting
uses less energy than incandescent bulbs. Multiple lights are purposefully placed throughout the refrigerator and freezer, making it easy to find items at a glance.
Preserva Food Care System
two independent cooling systems provide a dedicated refrigeration unit to help keep food fresh longer, and a separate system for frozen food. The FreshFlow Air Filter minimizes odors while the Produce Preserver helps delay over-ripening.
Clear Door Bins with Metallic Accents
allow you to see labels right through the bins, giving you visibility and easy access to your condiments and other items. Each bin is removable, making them perfect for carrying items to the counter.

Nice Fridge, Would Recommend
Two weeks we've had this refrigerator and am satisfied. The annoyances are a personal preference.
The LED lighting is very nice. Nice and bright. Drawers glide smoothly except they only open halfway. Disappointed with that. The middle drawer glides smoothly only part of the way and then gets almost stuck. I need to take it out and see if I did something wrong. It was very difficult to get the drawers out to take all the tape off as the door doesn't open a complete 180. Need to look in manual if those doors can open farther.
Took two days to fill the ice, hoping it was just a one time thing since it was the first time. The dispenser, both ice and water, spit outside of the glass a little bit when glass is set on tray. This is annoying. The measured fill is a nice feature.
Not impressed with the gray plastic housing and bottom. Wish it was black. The gray screams plastic and looks cheap. Personal preference.
We went from a 20 yr old first year french door fridge to this side by side. Takes some getting used to especially opening the correct door. I do like this configuration. Husband was hoping freezer food would be easier to find. It's not. It's just stacked differently. I plan to purchase some organizing bins.

Bought this after returning the brand new 3 door counter depth Model #KRFC704FPS that did have problems and replaced it with this side by side
From the get go the freezer and refrigerator chilled very quickly and ice was being made after several hours.
Well laid out for storage. Keeps very constant and accurate temperatures in both freezer and refrigerator compartments.
Quiet operation. Water pump is slightly louder than the higher end 3 door model and it's not quite as pretty but performance is much better and price is about half as much with more cubic feet. Because of the layout this hugs the wall very close and only protrudes a little over 3 inches farther than the aforementioned counter depth with 3 extra cubic feet to boot. Being an energy star it reaches threshold temperature quickly and runs less frequently saving energy. Three door model never stopped running. Not sure of all the negative feedback on this model. Perhaps improvements have been made on the 2024 models which this is. This model is very similar to the Kitchenaid I bought at my previous home that I noticed was just sold again 6 months ago. That very same Kitchenaid bought back in 2006 from the now defunct The Great Indoors is still there running fine after 18 years. Since we just got this several weeks ago it runs like a top. Will report back later. Truly a great choice for clearance from the wall and storage capacity.

I chose the Kitchen Aid because it matched my other two appliances and I am so glad I did. We have been buying LG and Samsung refrigerators that were great in every way EXCEPT for the ice makers in the refrigerator sections. Major headache thawing out the frozen ice makers every 3-4 days.
This KitchenAid refrigerator has side by side freezer and refrigerator. The ice maker is IN the freezer and works flawlessly! The parts are made better with metal blades. This is the deal maker for us. The shelves are adjustable and I like the freezer taking up all of one side and the other side is refrigerator. Again, one month owned but we are extremely happy with the ice maker, functionality and looks of the refrigerator. This is our first KitchenAid purchase.

I have found features in this refrigerator that I was unaware of during the purchase. When dispensing water it counts out the number of ounces or if you want it can dispense a predetermined number of ounces. The water dispensed is much colder than the previous refrigerator. This one has lots of light which really shines through and illuminates the food.

No more leaning and digging in a lower freezer compartment to retrieve foods. The side by side design allows you to find foods quickly. The wine rack was also a nice addition, as well as the information shown on the control panel. What other refrigerator shows you how many ounces of water you are dispensing through the door? Such a GREAT refrigerator!

Nicest refrigerator we ever owned
We have had this refrigerator for a year now and it is the quietest and most dependable refrigerator we’ve ever owned. You can barely hear the ice maker when it cycles. The compressor is silent and no gurgling or humming like our oils refrigerator. We since have replaced our dishwasher with a kitchenaid and will replace the stove when needed also. We are Kitchenaid converts forever and recommend the brand to all our friends and family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lighting is awesome! Easy to see items inside. Three drawers stacked on top of each other from the bottom up. Our previous fridge had two stacked from the bottom, a shelf and then another drawer which made it easy to lose items on the shelf between the drawers. Came with a wine rack but we did not want it. It was easily removed, so ca be easily put back in. Ice maker is in the door which gives more shelf space in the well lit freezer.
