This 25 cu. ft. refrigerator features the ExtendFresh Temperature Management System and Produce Preserver to help maintain the taste and texture of your freshest food. Other features include LED lighting and a slide-away split shelf to keep food organized and easy to find. The addition of the FreshChill Temperature-Controlled Full-Width Pantry gives you a dedicated space for meats and cheeses.

Separately monitors the temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer through a sensor located in each, to help ensure fresh fruit juices don't become frozen and prawns avoid freezer burn.

Absorbs ethylene gas emitted by many fruits and vegetables, causing them to over ripen. By removing ethylene, the produce preserver helps extend freshness.

A Terrific Workhorse!!

I have loved this refrigerator We're so glad they still make it, so I was able to exactly replace it. My old one for the record, still worked, but was just looking a little beat up. 18 years three kids, many many many parties Always plenty of room plenty of ice plenty of cold water filtered This refrigerator has tons of space and then some! We love the newer, sleek design, and are enjoying all of the features We have enjoyed previously. We even built our new kitchen around this refrigerator. It is not counter depth, but worth every inch!!!

Lots of Space. Great Refrigerator and Freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our refrigerator installed less than a year. A couple of months ago, our refrigerator was leaking from the back. It was a tubing. We scheduled service with an authorized dealer, but it took weeks before it was serviced. It was a simple plastic line replacement, which was done in less than 30 minutes when the part arrived. Everything works fine! We love having the ice maker within the freezer, which is what we searched for in models. The chances of having mildew growing within and about an outdoor water/ice dispenser is no longer a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we are happy with our new frig. After a lot of research and learning a lot about refrigerators, we decided on this one. We had a Whirlpool before this, which it was okay but the ice maker broke (soon after we got it) and the ice box was on the door so the ice always melted in the bottom of container. We had that frig for 11 years which I guess is about average.
Why we chose this one. Well first off the simplicity of the frig. There is nothing on the exterior door. The water dispenser is inside the frig and the ice maker is in the freezer....where it belongs.
The water is always cold and tastes great.
The ice is never melted, and always a steady supply. We got a nice little scoop to use to get the ice out.
There seems to be enough room to put all the groceries in, we are a family of 4. We do have a small drink frig in our garage.
The doors seem to seal well and it's pretty quiet. Occasionally when it drops ice I can hear it but my old frig made the same noise.
We have only had this for a short time but hope that we get longevity out of it. Next purchase is the stove...I want handles to match and its time for a replacement.

Love it but...

When we pull to open it from the middle and right side of the handle, it's fine. When we pull from the left side of the handle, it doesn't work smoothly. We reached out to the place where we bought it and were told there was nothing they could do. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

Especially like the shelf where front half slides back underneath to accommodate the occasional tall item. Wide shallow bottom drawer is perfect for meats and cheeses or a platter. Made the change from in-the-door ice/water to interior ice/water and like the uncluttered exterior look. Scooping ice is actually faster than waiting for it to grind out. Interior water dispenser also fills a glass faster. Keeping the exterior door dispenser clean was also annoying. Drawer freezer displays contents; nothing hidden in the back and forgotten. Unit fits in the same space as the old side-by-side but seems to have more interior room. Achieved cooling/freezing temperatures quickly. Like the digital temperature display and filter replacement light.

However, this model is different from a second one I have in another house: this one requires two hands to get filtered water (one to hold the glass and the other to press the bottom). Also, the ice bucket did not come with a scoop which is another down feature. Other than that, I am happy and hope it does last longer than other brands.
