Was thought I wasn’t going to like the gray interior but it. Only wish the tube handles were thicker. But everything else exceeded my expectations. I went with the nirmal stainless steel as printshield looked plastic. It’s a gorgeous compliment to the entire suite of kitchenaid commercial I got with the 48” range, micro drawer and dishwasher.

I do wish there is a users manual with a schematic/description of all features and how to use them. I have figured out most but miss the manual. e.g. there are multiple settings on the crisper drawer eg. meat, produce. Which one is colder and what is the temperature for each. I have not found this information documented somewhere

The storage is well designed, shelves are easy to arrange and clean. I wasn't sure about how effective the door shelves would be but they hold a TON! We used to just use door storage for condiments etc. but these are wide and deep enough to hold our milk, 2 liter bottles and bread. I really like the pull out shelf and honestly wish there was another one or two. The freezer is a great size and easy to organize. The ice maker is quick to produce and hold a lot more than other fridges we've had. Hopefully it will stand up to our hot summers when we used to have to buy ice because we went through so much. My ONLY complaint is that the dispenser on the door is a bit too short. It's difficult for the kids to get a full fill on their water bottles for school and to fit my water tumblers. We took the catch tray out and it helped but just another 1/2 inch to an inch would make a world of difference. Overall, its a buy and would recommend.

This was a replacement for the older model so there are some differences I like. I like the gray interior better than the old white, makes it look modern. The pull out wood trim shelf is neat, we mostly use for thawing meats so far. The baking pans that fit on the under shelve do not seem to have much use so far. I do miss the wine bottle holder that the older model had, I wish I would have taken it out before it was replaced. The upgraded water/ice dispenser area is the best improvement in my opinion, it looks more durable and the black color looks great. Overall gorgeous refrigerator, really is a centerpiece for our kitchen remodel.

Temperatures, etc. work well However, for 11 grand, I would've expected a much quieter unit. I could never tell when the Thermidor was operating however, this unit is extremely noisy, comparatively. I think the interior of the freezer and refrigerator sections is better laid out than the old unit, giving More functional room. Icemaker is essentially the same unit as is in the Thermador. I think one company makes most of them. Time will tell regarding durability.

We do not lose food in the back of the fridge now and we still have a regular sized freezer. My only complaint is the ice and water dispensers. The ice dispenser spits out small ice chips and makes a mess even on the cubed option. It also makes a weird noise a while after it’s used every time. It took me about a month to figure out where the noise was coming from or what was causing it. The water dispenser is not designed to fill water bottles. I feel they could have done so much better with this design.

I found information your site which is in the form of videos and not downloadable. The CSR said she was not aware of that information, she sent only what she had. The web info did not describe or show the temperature setting process or explain what "looping is"

The control panel is simple to use. The ice maker & water dispenser are perfect for what we need and how we use the fridge. The fridge fits very well in our kitchen. The Kitchen Aid website & support to register the fridge has been fantastic. Overall job well done.

This was a replacement for a Built in GE Monogram. The design and shelf spaces are very efficient. The overall cooling efficiency in the various compartments is excellent. My only disappointment is with the external digital display. It only displays set temperatures and does not show a read out of what is the actual temperature in the Freezer and Refrigerator compartments. That would be super usefu.

It’s it a gorgeous fridge, the ice maker is a bit loud (that’s the only thing that had us give it 4 instead of 5 stars). We would like to add this tip to anyone who might get this fridge in the future. There is tape that runs all along the fridge where the doors seal. We were having frost issues in our freezer and while inspecting the seals, we discovered the tape. Since we removed it, we’ve had no more problems with frost!! Love the space anc the look of the fridge! We would recommend it!!

While it’s pretty, I prefer the white, bright interior of the old one. Also prefer the temp and other controls being on the inside, not the door. I would have liked the black stainless, but the built-in didn’t come in that option. Finally, the old one had individual controls for each produce/deli drawer.

First time with ice/water in the door, & have been pleased. Only issues have been that I can't keep bananas in the fruit drawer because they turn black very quickly, and we get a whistling noise occasionally that lasts about 20 minutes. A website search had no solutions for adjusting the fruit drawer temperature, and says the noise is from the condenser making adjustments?
