Great new dishwasher!

Works thoroughly, And the exterior is very shiny and it doesn't get fingerprints everywhere. After setting up the app, it's really convenient to start a cycle when I'm not even near the kitchen. Something that was quite new to me. Was that the buttons are on the very top of the dishwasher . It looks nicer that way, and it's easy to use. The buttons are self-explanatory. The quadwash is likely how it gets the dishes so clean since the 4 jets of water spray at different angles. I typically use the air dry but I tested the Dynamic heat dry and it works even quicker and it gets warmer. I haven't needed it , but the bottom rack has parts that fold down for large items like pans. I think that's a good idea and I haven't seen that before!

Outstanding Dishwasher

As a tech guy, I loved being able to connect the dishwasher to my smart home system and the process was very easy. The dishwasher has great capacity and the EasyRack options are wonderful. I really appreciate the Dynamic Heat Dry, since dishes are ready to use or put away every morning. We have a great room, so the quietness of the dishwasher has been an excellent feature. Dishwasher is quick and efficient on all levels.

Fantastic dishwasher

Probably my favorite part. The delay start is a life saver. There are so many different wash options, from heavy washes to only rinses, and everything in between. Great dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started to wash our dishes before loading them into our dishwasher and the outcome was still very poor. It was time to replace it with a better dishwasher and we LDPH5554S Smart Top Control Dishwasher with QuadWash Pro caught our eye.
Professional installation was the best way to go for us, to ensure the connection was done correctly. The dishwasher itself is very sleek design with pocket doors, stainless steel tub, stainless steel design that is fingerprint resistant. It also connects to WiFi. The pocket door hide all controls but displays time remaining in the cycle.
The new dishwasher is very quiet compared to our old one, middle rack can be adjusted for taller items being placed on the upper shelf. The little top rack we use for serve-ware and did a great job washing them. The tub is stainless, it does require regular maintenance and cleaning. Filter will also need regular cleaning but is easily accessible.
The dishwasher is spacious and we can load more dishes into it, when compared to our old machine, and we can do so and not compromise on cleaning. The one hour wash and dry is a perfect option for a quick cleaning, the dishwasher also has a flex zone option for cleaning, multiple other programs are available to make life easy – for washing as well as drying. The racks are robust but light and easily pulled in and out. Silverware holder has small holes preventing smaller items to interfere with rinse arms.
As far as any cons: depends on humidity but I do have to leave dishes in after the drying cycle little longer for them to dry out. Another minor issue that came up during installation was that the rack to screw it into the countertop had different holes and as such the installers had to make it a tight fit as they were not able to drill holes into it. And we may need to be adjusting the dishwasher if and when it will move.

Great upgrade from my last dishwaster

We opted for professional installation, which seemed very easy and fast. Interestingly this dishwasher does not require air gap. It is very sleek design with pocket doors, stainless steel tub, stainless steel design that is fingerprint resistant. It also connects to WiFi but we have not tested that function just yet.
The several pros are that it is very quiet compared to our previous dishwasher, middle rack is adjustable, it cleans our dishes and pots well and the stainless tub stays clean. It does require regular maintenance, but all appliances do. I found that it seemed very spacious and I could load more dishes and items into it without compromising on cleaning. I love the one hour wash and dry for a quick cleaning it also has a flex zone option for cleaning, multiple other programs are available to make life easy – for washing as well as drying. The racks are robust but light and easily pulled in and out. Silverware holder has small holes preventing smaller items to interfere with rinse arms. It does require regular maintenance, but all appliances do and looking at the instructions it is simple – cleaning the tub, as well as the filter with both being accessible.

Excellent so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this new dishwasher for only five days so far but I'm very impressed with the features!
Compared to my old dishwasher, this one does not show fingerprints and has buttons along the top of the dishwasher. At first, I was worried that this would be harder to keep clean, but is quite simple to go over with a damp rag when washing the counters. It also doesn't stand out much further than my old one even though it's not flush to the counter.
The quad wash system is quite thorough and cleaned even dried on eggs! I typically use the night dry setting to air dry my dishes at night, but I tested the dry boost to see how it works. It works quite well and there are no drops left in the bottom of my dishes or pans.
Now for the app... I typically don't bother since I have a small house, but this one is quite useful since it has a delay setting where I can set the time for a few hours later. This is handy for people who have to pay more for electricity at different times of day.
Another of my favorite things about this dishwasher is that it has a third rack for things like spatulas that take up some surface area. This is such a great added detail!
Overall, I really enjoy it.

Nice Quiet Upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is a nice upgrade from our 24 year old appliance. It's quiet enough that we can run it at any time without disturbing anyone. The old one was too loud to run when watching TV and would sometimes wake up light sleepers.
Some nice features are the Dynamic Heat Dry and the 1-hour cycle. The heat dry gets the dishes dry enough to put away immediately after the cycle is done. It's also gentle enough to not damage our plastic toddler dishes. The 1-hour gets dishes just as clean as the normal cycle and mostly dry in just one hour. The normal cycle (with heat dry on high) is two hours, fifty minutes.
The interior volume is huge given the size! I have no issues filling the bottom two racks (the middle rack has height adjustment) and baby items like pacifiers can go in the very top rack. However, the large internal volume makes installing this a little less forgiving than an older dishwasher. I struggled with the drain hose since I couldn't route it where LG recommends due to the way the water lines were run when my house was built. The extra height also means there is less room under the unit for the water line and electrical. I had to be more careful about the routing of those than the builder of my house was with the original.
We have a toddler that's constantly putting his hands over anything within reach. The stainless on this dishwasher has yet to show one of his handprints (or face prints)!
I do see some areas for minor improvement. The controls seem confusing at first but make more sense when using the app. I just pressed 'Normal' for my first load with Heat Dry on max and hoped for the best! The gap around the edges of the dishwasher aren't fully concealed by the rubber trim. I can shine a flashlight through that gap and see the floor under the machine. The gap is due to the door hinge but I feel LG could have done more to make the missing seal less obvious.

Easy Install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer is quiet and looks great in stainless steel, we love the handleless design. With the top contols hidden it really is sleek and stylish. Inside the shelves are removable for easy stowaway of dishes. Three tiers of racks, fold down dish tines, ability to create flex zones with varied wash pressure. The quadWash Pro combined with the 1 hour wash cylcle, and True Steam setting has left our plates and untincels clean and dry thus far. It gives the peace of mind knowing that everything is sanitized. Speaking of which the built in leak detector is a great feature. It is absolutely awesome knowing that it is monitoring the water supply and draninage for leaks. It runs noticibly so much quiter that our previous dishwaher. The LG ThinQ Smart technology is great! Being able to control and adjust setting remotely is pretty cool! Overall it has surpassed all of expectations, we are so happy with it!

Quiet, Modern Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently to replace our previous dishwasher, while functional, which was over 20 years old and ready for an upgrade. With a family of four (two adults, a toddler, and a newborn), we run the dishwasher frequently.
The interior design is a significant improvement. I particularly appreciate the top rack, which is perfect for smaller items that often get lost or damaged in the bottom rack. It's low-profile, so it's easy to overlook, but very useful. I was also thrilled to discover that the dishwasher runs hot enough to sterilize baby items like pacifiers and pump parts. The adjustable middle rack is another valuable feature, allowing for better cleaning of taller dishes.
One of the biggest drawbacks of our old dishwasher was its noise level. This new model is remarkably quiet, allowing for normal conversation nearby. I no longer dread running the dishwasher during the day.
So far, the dishes have come out consistently clean and dry when the cycle is complete. I use the recommended Cascade tabs and Jet Dry for optimal results.
The accompanying app was easy to install and connected to the dishwasher quickly via Wi-Fi. It offers features like adjusting the end tone and creating custom wash cycles. I also appreciate the reminders for maintenance, helping to ensure the dishwasher operates smoothly.

1-Hour Wash & Dry Cycle: This cycle is a huge time-saver for busy days. It handles lightly soiled dishes well, leaving them clean and dry, though heavily soiled items fare better with standard cycles.
QuadWash® Pro Effectiveness: The QuadWash® Pro is exceptional. The multi-directional spray arms and powerful jets clean dishes thoroughly, even stubborn grime like baked-on food. Every dish, no matter where it’s placed, comes out spotless.
Dynamic Heat Dry™ Feature: Dishes, including plastics, come out completely dry every time. This feature eliminates the need for hand-drying, which is a big plus for me.
Built-In Leak Protection: While I haven’t experienced leaks, it’s reassuring to know the protection is there. It adds a layer of confidence when running the machine.

Awesome Dishwasher

The Fixed third rack is great for long utensils and all those tumbler straws. Everything comes out sparkling clean and the Dynamic Heat Dry means nothing drips water when I pull it out. The dishwasher is very quick and efficient as well as quiet, so we can still enjoy our conversations, music, movies, and so on. The leak detection gives me peace of mind and the smart technology was easy to setup with our smart home system.

It has 3 slide out drawers 2 for dishes and one top drawer great for smaller things, like kitchen utensils. It is energy efficient and has a quick clean setting that can wash and dry in one hour and is super clean!! its not noisy and has an easy food strainer at the bottom of the dishwasher to catch anything big that may clog or mess up the machine. I have no issues with it so far. It works perfectly!!!
