I didn't expect this to be such an upgrade but it was. Although, I only have been using it for a short 2 weeks, it has been amazing. The turbo mode is a must have, the cycle is literally minutes, it leave the clothes clean and dry. This is my first LG but won't be my last. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate, this machine is spectacular.

It is incredibly convenient to have the washer sense how big the load is and display a timer on the interface. No need to check the laundry room to see if your clothes are still washing! I'm also impressed by how dry the clothes are after the spin cycle completes. I definitely save money on electricity on less time spent drying clothes.

The washer is exceptionally quiet and offers many different wash options. Overall, the LG works very well, is gentle on clothing, and gets clothing very clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good cleaning, large capacity I've only done a few loads, but it seems to be working fine. The door is large, so it is a litfle hard to reach around it to load and unload. (It's against a wall and facing the dryer.) It is quiet and spins the clothing really dry. I prefer analog controls to the computerized, but I no longer have a choice in the matter. The many wash cycle options seem unnecessary when you could just have selection buttons to choose temp, time, spin speed, etc.

It replaced my old LG that the bearings went bad on after 12yrs so I felt comfortable getting another LG because they are built to last. The new features and app capabilities are a nice touch! But the larger drum size is my favorite part! Every comforter in the house fits with ease!! And it is SOOO quiet! I love it!

What are the dimensions of the feet on this washer? I'm trying to figure out if it will fit in the washing machine pan I had purchased which is 30x30&quot;.

Best estimate I can give since my washer is on a pedestal and not a whole lot of room for exact measurement. Front - distance between outer edge of the left and right feet is about 26 1/2 inches Front to Back - about 25 1/4 inches Hope that helps.

What kind of detergent is needed? Does it have to be HE?

Yes the detergent must be HE. I prefer the pods...I throw it right in with the clothes. Also I prefer bleach beads and not liquid.
