First time with LG Appliances and so far, so good! I never had a washer without an agitator, I like it. I also like the clear top so I can see inside, very cool! There's just one thing I don't understand... I don't see where I can select the load size which would determine how much water goes in. I'm going to assume the washer automatically determines that based on the weight of the load? I've read the manual several times looking for that and couldn't find it. That's another plus, it actually came with the complete manual! I didn't have to go online to get one. Good job doing that LG, I appreciate it!!

At 5'2", I had troubles with our last drier getting clothes out - I needed a long kitchen tongs to reach down so far! This one has great capacity, is quiet, cleans thoroughly, and I can get my laundry out easily! We got it at a great price as well!

A Workhorse That Goes On and On.

My husband washes a great deal of clothes himself and when our ten year old LG said "goodbye", we went right out and got the same exact one. Happy with our choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read many reviews on many washers and felt a bit overwhelmed. In the end, this LG top-load washer was our final decision. We've had it for about a month and we're very pleased. As others said, your clothes are not completely covered in water, but it appears to be plenty of water to get the clothes clean.
Our family doesn't get muddy on a regular basis but we exercise several times a week so our clothes get sweaty. This washer has done a great job at getting everything from sheets, jeans, sweaty gym clothes, and t-shirts clean.
We don't use a lot of settings. I use the 'normal' setting 95% of the time and the washer has performed well.
It's not a loud machine and it doesn't rattle around.
The only thing we had trouble with was the initial test after we installed it. Don't bother calling customer service, just look it up on YouTube, it's a LOT faster. The trick is to press all the buttons before the initial chime ends.

I purchased my LG wash machine recently to replace an older LG wash machine which finally needed to be replaced. We really do like this new one, and it actually looks and cleans better than the old machine. I like the control panel at the back end of the unit.
