Clean Clothes and Free Entertainment!
We bought this washer as a temporary replacement for our old washer, which died unexpectely. We needed a washer that could fill in until we remodel our laundry room and install a new washer and dryer. This washer is fantastic! It does a great job of cleaning the clothes, runs extremely quietly AND it provides cheap entertainment :). If you have ever wondered what the washer does as it runs, but have been unable to see its activity due to the lid being locked, this washer is for you. It has a glass lid that allows you to see what is going on as it fills, agitates and spins. New washers do quite a bit of work, and the glass lid lets you see what is happening. Great fun!

I have a large family. This is a large washer! So very quiet as well. The impeller design gets the clothes clean and the spin cycle really does a good job getting the water out,,, which means less drying time.

Just the right washer for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this washer. I picked LG because of the high ratings in Consumer Reports. I have had the set for about a month and it has been getting a workout. I was hesitant to get the impeller since they were new to me. But I have noticed that my clothes come out cleaner with no damage to delicates. I know that some people have complained that it is hard to reach items at the bottom of the washer, but I am barely 5ft tall and I have no trouble at all reaching them. I also must say that this is the most quiet machine I have ever had. I live in a small condo and even with the laundry room door open, I can barely hear it. I just wait to hear the little jingle to tell me it's done. Overall, this was a great purchase for me. I had been looking at the more expensive models with all the bells and whistles but most of them were things I would probably never use. This machine does everything I need and does it well. If you are looking for a reasonably priced machine without a plethora of unnecessary features but still a large capacity, this is a great choice.
