THIS SLIM MICROWAVE IS A LITTLE BIT BIGGER THAN OTHER BRANDS BUT I LOVE THE DESIGN AND THE PERFORMANCE.

Beautiful design and powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m still getting used to this microwave but my wife loves it and that works for me. It has a ton of settings and function and will microwave something in half the time as our older unit. I have burned maple syrup 3x already just pressing the 30 second option. It is super powerful and can do a lot. I enjoy the sleek design and I like there’s no handle sticking out so the whole front opens and the panel is across the bottom of the door. Inside the door is a bunch of info on temp settings and now to heat things properly. You can control the microwave from the ThinIQ App and they are always adding new melodies so the microwave plays music once it’s done. I also like it is much thinner and allows for more space at the stove . Overall this microwave is great and does more than you need to get the job done.

Love my new popcorn button!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I work opposite shifts, and we are always making meals on the go. The microwave that was here when we bought our house works ok, but it was loud and didn't have any cool features. The LG Microwave popcorn button is my favorite feature. I love that it pops almost every kernel without burning and I don't even have to set the time. Normally when you thaw hamburger in the microwave it's hard to make patties, but the LG Microwave defrosted 2lbs of ground beef perfectly. No frozen or burn spots and they formed perfect patties, now that is impressive. I like the sensors and extra features. I had to laugh the first time it sang to me when my food was done. The app is a nice bonus, tells you when your food is ready, and you can even preset it to cook.

Modern, sleek and tons of options!

This microwave packs a powerful punch so anything I make in it takes half the time as my old one. It gets your food super hot and cooked and has tons of options and presets to make things easier.

Best Microwave on the market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to making this purchase, I researched to find one that had all the features i was looking for and would fit in the space. This is the perfect size and so quiet. I can hardly tell it running. Cooks everything perfectly according to the directions when scanning the bar code on frozen meals. The external size is smaller but the inside is just the right size for most micraveable containers. The fan/vent has 4 levels, most only have 2. I tried the reheat feature and it senses the temperature heating the food ro the perfect temperature. Will 100% recommend this to everyone i know!

Sleek and sooo Quiet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew when we moved into our new to us home the microwave was on our list to be replaced. The one that came with our house didn’t match our other appliances and was super noisy. The LG Smart Low Profile Over the Range Microwave is everything that I was looking for in a new microwave. I love the Sensor cook feature, you don’t have to worry about overcooking your food or having a cold spot in the middle. By far the popcorn button has to be the house favorite, it stops when it's done popping and there aren’t a bunch of burnt popcorn or uncooked kernels. I was able to have the app up and running in only a few minutes. You can change the end music to several different options that had updates when I installed the app, it looks like they occasionally update with sounds. The app controls all the extra features like the lights, the fan and you can even set your cook time. It fits perfectly and looks great with my stainless-steel range. We are currently putting up a backsplash to finish off my kitchen. I thought the scan to cook feature in the app was a nice feature, though I haven't found anything it recognized yet. It even sends you a notification through the ThinQ when your food is done cooking.

Thoughts of using a slim microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace an older full sized microwave/convection over that was starting to see better days. When we got it home, we were like "what did we do" as it looked so small. But, once we had it installed, wow is all we can say.
To start, it almost appears to cook faster and more even than our old one. Everything we did before, we can do in this one.
The LG app works like a champ and haven't had any issues, just cannot find any of the 'barcodes to scan that work with the cooking times. The interface is nice and lack of buttons per say is good.
The only drawback is the glass is prone to smearing. If you are cookie and have to nuke a few things, you'll end up having to clean the front at least once daily.
Otherwise, awesome unit and would highly recommend!

Smart microwave but could be smarter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the MVEF1337F CYS microwave! As my first smart microwave, it’s a huge step up from my old non-smart model. One of my favorite features is the pleasant chime it plays when it's done, which is way better than the usual loud beeping most microwaves have. Plus, it syncs with the LG ThinQ app on my phone, which has been super convenient. There have been a few times when I’ve been out in the backyard and forgotten about my food, but the phone notifications reminded me just in time! You can also control the fan and light right from the app, so if you forget to turn them off, you don’t even have to get up. It also fit perfectly in the existing slot of my old microwave without any issues.
The only improvement I’d suggest is with the app. While the microwave itself sends reminder chimes if you don’t grab your food, the app only gives one notification when the microwave finishes and doesn't send any follow-up reminders.
