Very happy I bought this range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My condo association only allows electric appliances. Had an all electric range before replacing it with this induction range. Wasn’t sure I’d be happy, but I love it! The cook top truly is the next best thing to a gas range. Turn down the knob and the heat lowers really fast. So easy to control. The oven heats quickly and holds the temperature well. It’s a win.

Happy review
For two weeks, morning till night we have been using this model for holiday baking and meals. The cook top is simple to use and very easy to clean. The super boost function makes quick work of boiling water for pasta, even at 6,000 feet above sea level. The air sous vide produced moist, tender chicken. The oven baked tray after tray of perfect cookies without rotating the trays.
What we would like to see changed: the controls turn on accidentally if we brush against them.
Thanks for designing a wonderful appliance!

Love having dial controls.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love how fast things cook on the stove top. Also, that you can simmer. (Not doable on a regular glass top electric range)

This range meets all expectations!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first experience with an induction range. Our expectations were high based on reviews and ratings. We have not been disappointed. The speed and responsiveness of the heating elements are wonderful - like gas, but with none of the negatives of gas. The control knobs have a high quality feel to them. The knock on glass feature to turn on the oven light is useful too. Wifi feature is handy as well. So far, we are delighted with this purchase.

Induction is awesome. Better than gas
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a gas cooktop for the last 6 years. We recently moved to an all electric home. I decided to replace the existing range with an induction range. Since we have such a positive experience with our other LG appliances (refrigerator, washer, dryer), I wanted an LG range. Cooking with induction IS better than gas! The LG range has so many features that making cooking so much easier. The simmer function is amazing, food simmers without sticking or burning. Pot handles don't get hot. And best of all, cleanup is fast.

Excellent Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from an electric range, and we are thrilled with the new induction range. The burners heat up really fast, and we love that they maintain a steady heat level. The oven ran a bit hot, but since it has a calibration feature, we easily adjusted it. We really enjoy cooking with this range!

simply amazed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been dreaming of a high end gas stove for the control and instant heating. Sadly I don't have gas running to my house. Thought I would give induction a try. I am simply amazed with the speed and accuracy of this induction range! I filled my old tea pot with cold water out of the tap then used boost on the big burner water was at a rolling boil in 2.5 minutes! Induction is absolutely amazing! It blows me away it's like the day I used a microwave for the first time! I was excited to try the air sous vide mode on the stove so I bought a couple of ribeyes seasoned them well threw some cold butter on them and sealed them in my vacuum sealer. Set the oven to sous vide 130f and threw the steaks directly on the grate and pushed start for three hours. After completing the three hours I seared them in a pan on induction in two minutes start to finish. Steaks were perfect. I am completely sold on induction! This is one of the best purchases the wife and I have ever made!

Awesome Range, better than the gas it replaced.
We bought this several weeks ago, replacing our old gas range, and wow, induction ranges really can match Gas in speed and temp. Actually I believe it's faster and more consistent than gas! Did require replacing a few pans that were not compatible, but we knew that going into it. Overall very pleased, well done!

Great Features, exellent performance
We purchase this stove a month ago and have been so pleased with it. The oven bakes evenly and has been such a pleasure to use after 20+ years of gas ovens.
The induction cooktop is amazing. Precise temp control and heats incredibly fast. We have put it though its paces canning vegetables from our garden.

Magic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This induction stove was installed in my house on July 3rd, exactly 1 month ago. I have loved it from the first day. It amazes me like magic. I don't really understand how it works, but it boils water faster than you can turn around to get the pasta to put in the pot. The oven is a true convection. It fluctuates temp about 25 degrees in each direction. I can live with that. It is the most beautiful blue inside. It only comes with 2 oven racks with is a disappointment. I would expect a stove of this quality in this price range to come with 3, but you can get a 3rd one after market.
I was worried about scratching the glass surface. I inexpensively bought a silicone mat to put on top. THe cooking function works right through the silicone. Again, like magic.
I did not get this product free or at a discount in exchange for my review.
I just want to be entered into the sweepstakes.

Amazing! What's not to love?
I love this stove! I call it the "magic" stove because it does so many functions so well but it is so effortless. I have tried all the hobs and am amazed at how fast the food begins to cook. the Air Sous-vide is my favorite. I have never had foods come out perfectly done but still juicy. Amazing! It has been easy for this 77 year old woman to learn and enjoy.

Loving this induction range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my first induction range in my previous house so much I had to get a new one for my new house. I was told that I would love the gas range that came with the house, but it didn’t even compare to the LG range I left behind. I’m so happy I replaced the gas range for my beautiful new LG range.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy cooking on this range. Bought partially because at 80 years old thought it would be safer than my old electric coil range which had contacts that would arc shut and threaten to burn everything. Replacement parts didn‘t last long so new range. A bit of a learning curve ( the oven is so well insulated I’ve had to modify my turn off oven prime rib recipe). This range has been fun and caused me to try things I never thought I‘d do (sous vide shrimp).

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely pleased with this induction range. Two problems. The oven is so well insulated that my off oven prime rib recipe has to be modified as it cooks too fast due to not cooling off as quickly as older stoves. The kind of problem you want to have. You can accidentally turn on burners by brushing against them. I am 80 years old and this has made cooking fun again. I miss a few pots I loved that won‘t work on induction but overall this is the best appliance purchase we have made.

Great Induction Range and Oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very much enjoying my induction LG range. After doing a lot of research into options for Induction Ranges, this seems by far the best product with the most additional features. I especially love that it gives me a rating on how well my pans work on it, and all of the oven cooking options. This is a serious oven for people who love to cook and want precise control.

So far so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the range for about a month. Very happy with the induction cooktop. It cleans up easily. Temperature change is nearly immediate. Definitely prefer knobs over a touchpad for the cooktop. However, did have one instance where one of the cooktop knobs was unintentionally turned on by brushing against it. Was able to keep a few gallons of water at a low simmer for an hour with little adjustment. Baking thus far has worked well. Used an electronic thermometer to check oven temperature, and it seems to regulate properly. Checked the air sous vide mode with a thermometer also. Set it to 135. It held within a few degrees for over an hour, and was about 5 degrees high after 90 minutes. So, that function seems to hold within a small temperature window.

Good, But Not Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this range through a promotion from a major retailer. After having used it for about 8 months, we're pleased for the most part. Some observations:
The lack of a lower element in the oven makes it very difficult to avoid overbaking food. On the regular "Bake" mode it still cook sas if it is convecting. I can only assume that the convetion fan runs during regualr baking with the lack of a lower element, and as a result, it overcooks/browns food. A bit of a nuisance, but since we've identified the issue we can work around it.
It's difficult to see the legend for the burner lcoation on the front panel. With overhead lighting fro a hood, if you're not looking straight on at the panel, it's difficult to see the black dot that indicates which burner the knob controls.
Love the induction cooktop, it's amazingly fast!

Love induction and this LG models is excellent!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a high-end gas range for the past 30 years and thought it would be a challenge to get used to an induction range. I'm so impressed with induction cooking and this LG range, I'm sorry I didn't make the switch sooner! It is so nice to be able to use multiple burners and not have to deal with the heat, especially when using smaller saute and sauce pans. It's a join to cook with and I highly recommend. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is because there is no back-light on the front panel and it's difficult to read in dimmer lighting...and the lightweight oven racks. The good news is that the LG Glide Oven Shelf that comes standard with LG Studio models even though it's not listed as an accessory for this LG model. I have photos of the Glide Rack in the oven but having difficulty posting the photo but the LG accessory number is: LG AHT7473805, Silver...also referred to as Glide Shelf.
NOTE: I did a previous review the day I received this LG Range. I was disappointed about the light weight wire oven racks but since discovered they are similar to most ranges in the same price range.

Great Cooktop, Oven Not So Much
Great product, we love the induction cooktop, so quick and efficient. The oven, not so much.
We've owned convection ovens for several decades, long before they were common, so we're very familiar with their use and operation. This oven, while on the regular "bake" mode, continues to use the convection fan, overcooking/browning foods that are being cooked at the proper temperature and time. Essentially, regular "bake" is convection as well, or so we've found. Having to adjust cooking times for regular baking to avoid overcooking or browning is a real inconvenience. If we hadn't gotten the range as a part of our review work we likely would return it. We don't recommend it based on the issue wit the oven.

Awesome Induction cooktop, but no Bottom Bake heat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just bought this range from a local appliance store, but we are returning it because the oven doesn't fit our needs. The induction cooktop really is amazing, and this was the reason we bought it. The physical knob controls work really nicely, and the cooktop controls very precisely.
The biggest downside is the oven. If you are an avid baker you probably want to steer clear of any LG probabake ranges, as they have NO BOTTOM BAKE ELEMENT. There is only the top broiler element and the convection fan at the back. This has made anything we baked work differently, where you can't follow recipes because things won't turn out correctly. The worst for us was pizza (frozen and homemade). It just can't seem to bake the crust so it's crispy, which was very disappointing to us.
For somebody who is looking for a great induction cooktop, and who might only use the oven for things like baked potatoes, casseroles, meat, etc. this range probably would work great for you. If you bake things like homemade pizza, breads, pastries, etc. you might have a difficult time with this.
I think the worst part was it wasn't very clear in the advertising that the bottom bake element was removed. Most ranges in this price have a hidden bottom bake element, in addition to the convection element, but I think LG Probake is the only one with it removed.

Terrible unit
When you turn it on, the temperature cannot be set unless you turn it off and quickly back on. Then, and only then, can you select the temperature.
Setting the temperature, however, is no guarantee you'll get the desired temperature.
Two days ago, after the above mentioned ritual, I requested heat of 425*. The oven sang the song of its people when it reached 425 and I popped in the delicious pizza. I set the timer on the oven, my phone, and a hand timer like our mothers' once used. The required time was 20 minutes. When they flew by, the whole house jangled, beeped, and twinkled. The pizza, however, was all brown and sounded like a brick. I placed an oven thermometer in the thing while my hubby and I enjoyed a crunchy brown dinner. The thermometer told me the lying oven was cooking at 450•
Another Pizza. Another day.
Knowing the calibration was off, I placed the thermometer in the oven and went through the on/off/on/set ritual. I selected 400• and waited until the oven sang that my desired selection had been reached. The thermometer decried this claim and swore it was only 300• so I waited. After another 10 minutes had passed, the oven was still only at 300. I reset the required temperature to 415 and soon the oven sang. I popped in my pizza and set my timers. I returned to the oven before the timers went off only to find another brown leathery Pizza. The thermometer said it was just under 450.
And the paint is already wearing off the knobs.
