I also have the Sam… Freestyle 2. And this totally blows it away in all categories. . I am obviously going to be sending the Sam… freestyle 2 back asap, as you’ll see in pic#1. It’s still light outside and look how bright the projector is on my ceiling !!

This projector was the best decision of the year by far! I would highly recommend it! It was compact, yet efficient with the ability to stream apps like Netflix and AirPlay to put any video on the big screen. It's very lightweight with a built-in handle which make it easy to transport and perfect for on the go and serving as an adjustable kickstand. The 4K resolution and quality is over the top to be that small. The screens size can be adjust very easy. Something I love is that it can be on the corner of the room straight or looking to the side the image will be intact on the projector screen, it will not turn or get out of adjustment. It have a great audio quality without the need of a sound bar or speakers, but you can also added and easy to connect via Bluetooth. I was a bit worried about the measuring the distance between were I was going to place the projector and the screen but even though the size projected is depending on the distance it automatically adjusts based on whichever distance I choose. The projector is so small and portable, making it such a breeze to take just about anywhere. The picture quality is so crisp and vivid. It has great resolution and it even comes with built in apps and a remote, so you can easily stream your favorite shows and movies without even having to connect it to a laptop. Of course it has an HDMI input so you can easily plug it into any device, and it even connects to my cellphone to stream videos wirelessly as well. I love this projector and highly recommend it. I built a screen on the other side of the window and it works perfectly even during the day. I also love the ability to automatically adjust the screen to whatever position the machine is in. It's small in size so you can take it with you anywhere. I'm looking forward to fall camping.

Be sure the bottom phillips screw is tight to ensure the bottom rod piece is Tight to the base . make shift screen : hang a Black King Size bed sheet next hang a White King Size bed sheet on top of the Black sheet. this is giving very nice results Games run as good as on a 50 inch TV . at 120 inch , the 4k provides brilliant color with very smooth motion and responce . how a projector produces Black, on a White screen is an optical illusion , search it on google . this projector at 500 lumens is not enough for use on a Black bed sheet . from what i have seen , either an 85 inch TV or this projector . Fantastic projector , LG served it up right . at about triple the price of many 300 dollar projectors, that run 1080 , No HDR . compare the features and price . it will be a sad day when the lamp goes out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dream of having backyard movie nights is a REALITY thanks to the LG Cinebeam Q 4K Smart Portable Projector. I love the sleek design—it’s super small (5.5” long) and lightweight. It was easy to set up, connect to our home Wi-Fi, and sync with my phone to play a movie. The picture quality is AMAZING! Very sharp and the color is very good. We started our movie before it was completely dark and could still see everything well. Some have mentioned the internal speakers, but we don’t plan to use them—it's either headphones to avoid disturbing the neighbors or a portable speaker for a cinematic experience. My one complaint is that the remote only works if you point it directly at the back, not from the front or side, which is cumbersome. I had to pinch myself last night while watching the movie. When I first unboxed it, I was surprised. It looks like a decorative piece that I can place anywhere in my room. As for the features, I love that it auto-focuses and adjusts to the wall, which is incredible because I have to place the projector at an angle in my bedroom. It just auto-adjusts perfectly. I also love that it seamlessly connects to my Bluetooth speaker, and the projector remote actually controls the speaker. This projector is perfect for me because I never wanted to wall-mount a TV in my bedroom, and this is the best option for me. I only have two negative points. One, the built-in speakers are not loud enough, but that's easily mitigated by using a Bluetooth speaker. I purchased the CineBeam Q so I could host community movie nights and also have the opportunity to project new scenes while taking photos. But I couldn’t be more pleased with my choice. I needed a solution for a tv in my bedroom, that didn’t take over the decor, and this was the perfect fix. It’s much brighter than other “designer” options I have tested during the day. Though if I’m being honest, I use this for casual viewing. My cinephile partner loves it too, but his attuned eye does notice its downfalls. My only disappointments are the remote, and the speakers. But quickly purchased a HomePod and Apple TV that connect seamlessly. Yes, it’s a pricy. But I’m a picky designer.

My son can't believe that we have the ability to watch such a large picture! The built-in speakers are decent, but I prefer using my Bluetooth sound system for better sound. The whole setup works smoothly with all my devices, which is a huge plus.
