Highly recommend this for style and functionality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this projector as a “movie in bed” girl. I wanted to get something sleek yet powerful for watching shows and movies in bed at night with a small light on or in the dark. Exceeded my expectations by a landslide. The picture quality is very high-quality and good in moderate light. It’s sleek and very portable so if I wanted to move this into a different room or different wall, I can. My critiques are: consider getting an external Bluetooth speaker for this setup. The Bluetooth capabilities are easy to maneuver, which is good. But like all projectors, the internal built-in speaker is not very powerful. Separately, I’m surprised that Hulu and HBO Max are not in the App Store. Luckily, I have been using airplay to cast it onto the projector with no problems. Overall, highly recommended due to both style and functionality. The set up was also simple, although I did run into some issues, but it was a user error. Review submitted as part of a program that provides a purchase discount.

Our Kids’ New Favorite: Cartoons on the Ceiling!

Much brighter than I expected

I didn't have high expectations because I had the impression that projectors are not as bright as TVs, but the first night I used it I was surprised at the size and brightness of the screen. With modern technology, it's possible to make things that bright. I just bought it, so I don't know how durable it is, but so far she and I are very happy with it.

Amazing Product!!!!!!!

This is my first time owning a projector so I can’t really compare it with other products but I personally think it’s definitely something anyone could fall in love with 😍
The design is so sleek and modern and the build feels really solid. It’s super compact and convenient so I carry it everywhere. I had a movie night with my friends, used it for night pool party, and the most amazing part is when I use it for those fake window screen to fill like im in Hawaiiii.
The colors are super vibrant, and the details are really sharp and crisp. It’s like having a theater right in my own home.
I’m not a tech savvy person so I was little bit worried about setting it up but it was surprisingly easy!!!! I just literally need to plug it in and thats it!
Wi-fi and bluetooth gets connected instantly so I can stream my daily workout youtube on my wall while I workout.
I definitely recommend buying this projector!!!!

The BEST Portable Projector
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size, weight, build quality, and thoughtful design are not the only impressive features. The top three features I love are: First, the autofocus feature. No matter what angle I placed the projector at, it automatically adjusted the screen and displayed a perfectly rectangular quality image. It did a phenomenal job adapting the display wherever I placed it. Second, the quality and brightness of the projector are remarkable. I expected a loss in quality as I left the curtains open, but even with natural light, the video quality was excellent. Third, the apps for all my streaming services are pre-installed, so logging in and going straight to a video was simple and easy. It has Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and YouTube.
All of these features contributed to a fast, easy setup for our son to watch his favorite shows, while giving mom and dad more time to rest and relax! Thank you, LG!

Portable Projector with 4K quality
Cinebeam Q is a great choice for anyone looking to bring the cinema experience home. I like its auto adjustment feature, which makes setting it up a breeze. I just place it where I want, and it takes care of the rest. It's also lightweight and portable, so I can easily move it around. The picture quality is awesome especially in darker rooms. awesome portable projects
I wanted a portable 4k projector and this is it! It's brighter than the 500 lumens may indicate, but you're still going to want a dark room. Picture is great, auto adjustment is great, webOS is good enough to handlee most apps and if it doesn't, there's airplay.

The best projector ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are so many things I love about this projector! First of all, I love the minimalist design that it has, is extremely intuitive to use. The remote isn’t overly complicated, and I love that it has the shortcut for some of the apps built into it. The picture from the projector is so crisp and clean and it automatically adjusts to whatever size surface you’re projecting onto. It has great sound that comes directly from the projector as well. I like some of the built-in features that it has because with Wi-Fi, it makes it more like a portable smart TV. You can hook phones, computers, and speakers up to the projector via Bluetooth, and I just find that so convenient. This projector is truly worth every single scent that I paid for it, and I would definitely buy it all over again!

No TV, No Problem!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this projector to use since I don’t have a TV in my bedroom and it works great! It has great picture quality and the autosize projection makes setting it up super fast & easy. You are able to plug in your google chrome cast directly to the projector to watch all of your favorite shows on streaming apps! It also has a handle that doubles as a stand to elevate the projector so you can adjust the height. The sound quality isn’t the best especially if you are using in a large room or if it is far from you. I used it with my niece and nephew to watch tv in bed and they LOVED it and thought it was the coolest thing to have a show on the wall. Overall, I would recommend if you are looking for an upgrade to your projector!

Awesome portable projector

I’ve previously owned the nebula capsule 3 and the 4k cinebeam is sooo much better in terms of resolutions, brightness, ease of use and style. Definitely worth the higher price point. Cons: the internal speaker is not great so plan to use an external speaker and the top of the projector runs hot. Otherwise it’s a fun portable projector for family get togethers and movie night. My little one calls it the magic tv.

Amazing quality projector! For the size it's quite insane how great it looks. Movies and Youtube videos have been great only downside is if you have game consoles like we do in my household, it may lag a bit. It's not a crazy problem but I can see a few gamer heads get game rage in the case their game is lagging.

Best 4K portable projector!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I were looking to replace a tv in our back living area and we stumbled on the idea of a home projector. We had taken our first family road trip and it would have been so ideal to be able to have one to take on the go so we can stream the kids favorite movies and shows. This projector is literally what we were looking for. We watched a ton of cost effective projector reviews on YouTube and LG was an easy choice! This projector is compact, Easy to move from room to room, It does have a speaker built-in, but you can also connect your sound bar to it, But our favorite feature is the fact that the picture auto adjusts. With a toddler and not the full set up for one yet- if they happen to pick it up or move it, it will auto adjust so that way the picture is straight and framed correctly. The picture is great, and the kids have loved watching nature videos blown up on the wall. I would love in the future if they had an option to have a battery built in where I could take this on the go without being plugged in for use. The only other con I would say is that the remote has to be pointed at the projector for it to work, which is tough if we had it hung up it wouldn’t register if we were sitting facing the wall lol. But over all, we are so beyond pleased with our choice. The kids love it and we are looking forward to more family movie nights!

Having a very small form factor, the Cinebeam Q is extremely portable making it very convenient to be used in a variety of places – movie nights outdoor in the summer and indoor in the winter or even when traveling. The picture quality is great, even in not the darkest of situations. It was very easy and quick to setup.
One thing to note is that the auto-alignment did not work great and kept aligning the frame slanted. It was easy to fix this by performing a manual alignment. However, when something / someone crossed in-front of the projector the auto-alignment kicked in again and messed up the alignment, so the auto-alignment had to be turned off.
The WebOS version that is on the Cinebeam Q is an older version than the WebOS running on the LG TVs so if you have an LG TV the experience is different. In addition, not all apps are supported on the older version like YouTube TV.
The CineBeam Q remote is an IR remote, so in case you are sitted in front of it, you have to get behind it and point it to the back side of the Cinabeam Q for it to work. Also the Cinebean Q is not supported by the LG ThinQ app so you can’t monitor and control it from the app.

What I Was Looking For!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it is a great product. It serves its purpose for exactly what I need, especially at its price point. I love that it’s easy to use as I am not the biggest tech person. I liked that I didn’t have to download apps to use it, it already came equipped with the apps I already use (Netflix, YouTube, etc.). The small and compact nature of it makes it very portable to move around the house. One drawback that I could think of is that it requires wall power. This limits the actual location where I can use my projector. Also, the projector must be in sight for the IR remote to function as opposed to the radio frequency remote where you don’t have to aim it at anything. All in all, I’m excited to incorporate this projector into my weekly date night activity with my significant other.

Pretty happy with it

I'm about a day into my ownership of the CineBeam Q and overall, I'm pretty happy with it. First things first, it's pretty expensive and I'm surprised it doesn't ship with protective case of some sort. Actually I have yet to find an official (or unofficial) protective case on sale anywhere as of yet which is baffling for an item that is suppose to be portable. I would probably think twice about taking my unprotected projector anywhere so make a case LG! Oh and a battery would be great.... (u know, portable and all)
Moving on... the projector does the basics really well. The look and feel of the product is definitely premium, unboxing and setting it up is a breeze and i'm overall a fan of LG WebOS (although I can't seem to find the Hulu app in the this LG content store even though it's present on my LG CX 77...weird). The picture is crisp on a white wall and I'm interested to see how it performs once I get my projector screen. The auto focus feature is works as intended and finding the optimal position for viewing was relatively easy to figure out.
Now for my gripes....the internal audio is awful. I'm not an audiophile by any stretch but its just bad. Luckily I got the free Bluetooth speaker promotion and I have to say, the LG XBOOM XO2TBK speaker is pretty awesome. The setup was easy (how hard can a bluetooth setup be tbh) and the sound quality definitely did pleasantly surprise me. I really recommend it! If you get this projector, you have to get an external speaker (don't think, just buy one...trust me).
Final annoyance (and this one really gets me)... the remote control is IR. Like, it requires that you point at an IR receiver to work. My issue with this is that its not always easy to be in the right position (facing somewhere behind the projector I think) for the direct link to be done. Useability wise, it's annoying. I get that this is not a TV, its a projector. Fine but I'm willing to bet that everyone that uses a remote somewhat points it at the screen you are watching when you are navigating the menu looking for a show, not pointing it behind you or to the side or wherever you setup up your projector.
This product is so close to being great, I'm sure I might find some more little issues here and there after some more usage but overall I'm happy with this product and I intend to keep it.

Good TV

Pros: 1. Great picture. Great picture. Great picture.
2. Good looking.
Cons: 1. Auto focus will not working on big screen. My experience is it starts at really sharp and then gradually out of focus. I turned off the auto focus right now. It be a software issue.
2. The build in speaker is not good enough for a TV. I am using the Bluetooth speaker come from the promotion.
3. The remote is not a Bluetooth remote. I have to point it to the projector to use apps, adjust settings and etc. luckily I have a TiVo stream 4K. The remote from TiVo free me from have to point to the projector to use apps.

Great Quality, not enough streaming platforms
I love this projector. The quality is amazing and so easy to use. The auto adjust feature is great when I move it from room to room. The only downside is that HBO Max, Hulu, and Crunchyroll are not available. For the price, I wish it would have more apps. Huge bummer but hopefully they will get those apps soon.
