LG is always creating cutting edge, innovative products that make everyday life easier. Using LG's TWIN Wash technology, this new Sidekick pedestal washer can wash smaller, more delicate loads simultaneously with the general load that's in the main washer above.
The Sidekick will come in handy for any type of household. Where laundry is a frequent task, washing time is now cut in half by doing two different types of wash loads at the same time. The SideKick is perfect for delicate sweaters and other tops, for gently washing undergarments, for specialty fabrics like sportswear, and for families with little ones and handling emergency messes while on the go.

Great Addition to Signature Set. Versatile.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item is a really nice addition to the set. I get to wash 2 loads at once. It does a great job washing. I love the extra Rinse settings. I can get my clothes nice and super clean by rinsing out the old detergent very well. I'm not sure how much water this uses or if it's as energy efficient as the washer in the set but I still like to use it. It is a little harder to use because it is on the ground and it doesn't have any hot water options which kind of sucks but I will and have already gotten my use out of it. The dryer is so large that it can handle the extra laundry I put into it. The only thing I would say is that the manual was a little misleading on the detergent part. It mentioned placing the detergent with the little rubber thing it came with directly into the washer but I don't do that because I don't think you're supposed to put the rubber thing into the washer. This part needed some revision and clarification. Illustrations would've been nice. Also, I believe there is some confusing but also misleading information out there about there being a detergent dispenser built into this. There is not a detergent dispenser.

Best for sports families! Time saver!
I researched many other brands and decided on LG. The sidekick washing machine has been super helpful!! I have two daughters in competitive cheer and gymnastics therefore we use the sidekick to wash practice wear and leotards.

Great companion to a large washer!

I use it for small loads of reds/pinks, delicates, and items I want to wash right away. The only thing I wish it had was a presoak feature. Other than that, I love this machine and would highly recommend it.

The washer is handy and has excellent results. It’s ideal for quick small loads to wash. The remote control makes the washer easier to operate. This washer is worth the money you won’t regret buying it. It’s an excellent investment! I love it!

Never had one before but now I will never not have
I wanted the pedestal washer to wash my delicates. It is easy to use and I can wash a load in the main washer and the pedestal at the same time which cuts down on time spent doing laundry. Clothes are softer and cleaner than in the big washer with other clothes.
