So far, so good!
Just started it for the third time since it has been installed. The dishes seem cleaner than with my previous dishwasher that was of another brand. I like the illumination inside, too.

Good cleaning and lights up too.
I feel that this cleans better than my former dishwasher which was a kitchenaid. It's a learning curve though to figure out the best way to organize the dishes in the racks. I really like that there is a light that illuminates the interior. Genius!

The well thought out features…. like the large utensil basket that holds each piece of silverware separately, helps to get all the silverware pieces clean. We love the pull out “tray” up top for larger utensils and knives or smaller items. It’s been a great purchase for us. Thank you!

Impressive Dishwasher
We retired a 17 year old dishwasher for this one even though it was still going strong. The first thing that I noticed about the LG Studio SDWB24S3 dishwasher at the LG website is that it is recommended by Consumer Reports, which for its price is very unusual.
Operationally for us, the major things to like begins with a 1-Hour Wash & Dry. Dishes come out clean and drier with less heat and steam at the end of the cycle. The door opens quieter with less effort, and the racks move easily. Plus 40dBA is quiet. The Time Remaining Indicator and SignalLight Cycle Indicator Lights tells us where it is in the cycle.
Cleaning is enhanced by 3 spray ams and QuadWash Pro instead of two fixed arm blades. The Rinse-Aid Indicator takes the guess work out of consistent ingredients for washing, and the Hidden Water Heater assures good results.
Appearance things like NeveRust Stainless Steel Tub, PrintProof Stainless Steel makes it easy to live with and keeps it looking beautiful. The Stainless Steel Towel Bar Handle is something my wife has wanted for when she is working in the kitchen.
Quality items like the Inverter Direct Drive Motor is superior to other drive mechanisms like belts, and Leak Detection gives you peace of mind.
Extras to like are LED Tub Lights, ENERGY STAR rating, and generous warranties.
In summary, the look, feel, and sound, of this dishwasher are totally impressive.

Excellent Washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product so far. Cleaning is excellent, dishes are perfectly dried (using the "boost" feature.) Excellent design. I like the dish "separators" that fold down to accommodate large items like pots and pans. Also like the third tray for small items like knives, chop stickes, etc. Features are great. I especially like the "one hour" wash which I use often. However, I have only been using it for a couple of months now, so I can't comment of the durability of the product.

Great dishwasher- cleans dishes easily, third rack is really helpful with shallow items like plastic tops, silverware. Love how quiet it is. I have yet to figure out how to get the second and third racks completely dry, despite trying all of the options for heating. Also, the arrangement of the tines on the lowest rack doesn’t accommodate differently sized plates and bowls. These two items are why I rated it down by one star. Otherwise, great dishwasher.

It does okay with cleaning, I like the light inside. I am so disappointed with how loud it is. I used to be able to run my dishwasher when people were around it and not hear it. Not this one, I can hear it from down the hall. Extremely disappointed. Should not have spent so much money.

Does not matter if there is few dishes or not or fully loaded or not. I have to inspect all the dishes before i put them away. We figured out we leave it on HEAVY mode no matter what.
